Me gustó Location was great for me on The Coleridge Way. Having to climb out of Porlock Weir up and over the A39 meant that extra distance from Porlock was a bonus! It is only one step away from wild camping. 1 composting toilet, 1 cold water tap and that’s your lot, for £9 for a hiking tent I am not complaining. It is a sloping site and quite exposed so be aware of that. But really close to pub food, cafes but no supplies I think.

No me gustó For £9 per night, per hiking tent, there was nothing I disliked.

Me gustó Convenient location for SWC ramblers right next to the path so no need to detour after long day hike.
Fantastic view across Porlock marsh and hills. Close to Porlock Weir pub, souvenir shops and b&bs yet secluded and very quiet. It's basic (just compost toilet and bins) but very clean.
Very nice and helpful host.

Me gustó Nice simple tent in a field campsite with stunning views of the hills and coastline.
Great location with lots to do all around, lovely pub and restaurant less than 5 minutes walk down the road.

Me gustó Peaceful campsite with beautiful views. Lovely spot. Easy walk into Porlock Weir and to the beach. Owner very friendly and helpful with recommendations.
Would definitely recommend.

Me gustó Quiet, open field. Good communication with a friendly host. Amazing view and very short & safe (low traffic) walk to the main harbour (food/drinks, sunset, seafront, walking path), facilities as advertised

Me gustó We love this campsite and so pleased it's open again for the season. Very basic (a single compost loo and a tap) but such a wonderful location and always manages to lift your spirits. Cheap as chips!

No me gustó It's a bit slopey so choose your spot. Less nettles than last year and now a bit of phone signal!

Me gustó A lovely quiet campsite in a beautiful setting!

The site was just as described. Being able to see (and hear) the sea from our tent was really wonderful, and the view of the bay, hills, and horses from the top of the field made it really special.

We liked how simple the site was - we had just what we needed, the water point was well set-up, and the compost toilet was absolutely fine.

Matthew came round and said hi the evening we arrived, and gave us a few suggestions for walks. We enjoyed exploring the area during our trip, had some great walks, and we liked the cafe in Porlock Weir. We're keen to visit again!

No me gustó Nothing! Everything was great.

I thought it would be handy if there was a green waste / compost bin on the site, but that's all I could think of :)

Me gustó Fantastic location and essential toilet and water tap providing basic needs.
Lovely view and friendly visit from the owner during the stay to see if everything was ok and give advise on getting to places etc.
Right on the coastal path.
