East Farm Campsite

Me gustó Lovely countryside, peaceful campsite with clean toilets and showers. Fabulous Dorset apple cake in the farm shop. We’ll come for longer next time.

Me gustó Lovely site, on a working farm, with plenty of room, fantastic facilities on site, with a little shop and cafe, selling home made cakes (the apple cake was the best made with apples from the farm) plus local Game burgers, bread, beers cider and other local Goodies. The showers and toilets were modern and the owners worked hard to keep them clean throughout the day. The owners were a wealth of knowledge and were really helpful telling us about some amazing beaches, including some hidden gems.

Me gustó Hosts were great! Friendly and approachable! Nothing was too much!
Basic site, but all the essentials WC’s, showers.
Be aware the sheep moo every morning between the hours of 7-8 whilst they are waiting for their breakfast!!!

Was nice to wake up to the sheep noises.
Plenty of space.
Family friendly

No me gustó Shower was a bit dirty and blocked first day but was much nicer the next day.
Not much in walking distance

Del administrador: thank you for kindly staying with us recently, and we hope you enjoyed your stay. Really sorry about the shower not being clean for your visit to it. We tried so hard to keep these clean during the bank holiday weekend visiting 3 times during the afternoon/evening and again 3 in the morning to do our normal checks. We have noticed the possibility of someone maybe showering in footware, which may have caused grass blocking issue. As soon as we noticed this we cleared and cleaned as we take pride in our washroom.

Me gustó Farm cafe was good value for money and the service was great

No me gustó There was only one shower, this was fine when we were the only campers, however not great when during the bank holiday weekend.

Me gustó Beautiful quiet site, friendly staff and fabulous Dorset apple cake ice cream in the cafe!

No me gustó Facilities fairly basic but great if you really want to get away from it all, which we did.

Me gustó We loved that it was quiet. There was the farm shop with a lovely tea/beer garden. The best ice cream we ever had. All you need on a camp site as facilities. And an old, but powerful fridge/freezer in the kitchen we could use. We froze water over night for the hot day at the beach.

Me gustó The location was good, the sheltered site was quiet and flat. The team were helpful and seemed to have though about grouping similar groups together to keep everyone happy.
The farm shop and cafe were a great addition and were really reasonably priced.
The toilets were clean and well stocked with paper.

No me gustó The kitchen block is in desperate need of a refurb, the roof leaks and the floor is rotting, but it was functional and plenty of hot water for washing up.
The showers need a little work, they were clean but ineffective for actually getting a good wash due to showerhead issues.

Me gustó Good value for money and plenty of space. Facilities were basic, but clean. Lots of beautiful countryside and could go walking without having to drive.

No me gustó Website doesn't accurately reflect their rules. They state no dogs and no large groups so I booked with the expectation that it would be a very quiet place to stay. But there was a large group near us and several dogs, so not as quiet as expected.

Me gustó The friendly owner, the peaceful surroundings and the local area. The site was well kept and a lovely place to sit out of an evening and watch the bats and the stars.

No me gustó Whilst the toilets were clean and functional, the gents shower tray was cracked and the toilet door had a window in it, giving people in the tea rooms opposite a view in as you use the urinals. The ladies shower had a similar window in the shower. Put some frosted glass in, or a blind. The washing up facilities could really do with an update. There's only one sink, no lights and the roof leaks.
