Bincombe Bumps Camping

Me gustó: Everything! Beautiful site with amazing views over Weymouth bay and Portland. Facilities were clean, quirky, and all in good working order whilst being in keeping with the spirit of the site. Loads of space for pitches. The onsite food options were great and reasonably priced. The bar was well stocked and the entertainment tent was roomy, dry and fairly spacious. Will be back.

No me gustó: Tiny things - could do with an extra washing up station towards the far end of the field. Music didn’t always finish at 11 as advertised but kids were so knackered it didn’t really matter to us, might bother others tho.

Me gustó: I loved how clean the facilities were. The whole place was modern and all the staff were so welcoming and helpful. The live music sounded brilliant.Have to say.. I’ve recommend the campsite to so many friends and family!

Me gustó: Picturesque views, friendly staff and the amenities were nice. We loved our weekend at this site. There was a nice communal seating area next to the bar and kitchen and we had a great time listening to the live music in the evening, great atmosphere! We also hired a fire pit for £15 for 2 nights including some logs.

No me gustó: The kitchen food was pricey for the portion sizes, especially the halloumi fries. However, all of the food ordered was nice. The men’s toilets needed a bit more attention. Most of the toilets were blocked over the weekend. It was also difficult to get to a urinal if someone was using the sink.

The gents toilets are being refurbished for next season and hopefully this will address any issues you experienced. Me gustó: Very welcoming, helpful and friendly staff. The views are incredible! Love the relaxed atmosphere and entertainment. The toilets and showers are kept very clean. Was a big advantage to have the kitchen for breakfast and dinner if we didn’t want to cook. Would love to return. My favourite campsite so far!

No me gustó: I like that you can pitch up anywhere but it would be good if you got a bit of space around you as we had a family with small children and then more of their friends pitched up very close to us. Wasn’t very relaxing as they were quite noisy very early in the morning. Be prepared for strong winds up on the hill!

With regard to the pitches, all guests are told on arrival that the site is very large and they should leave ample room between tents, but unfortunately this is not always adhered to. Me gustó: We liked everything - the friendly welcome, beautiful views, clean and well cared for facilities. Lovely atmosphere in the marquee in the evening and great food and drinks.
