Barley Meadow Touring Park

Me gustó Well kept touring park with excellent pitches. Adult only campsite made it ideal for those wanting a relaxing break. Dog friendly campsite is another bonus for dog lovers. The shop had virtually everything needed foodwise etc and the games room yet another bonus with free pool table. Spotlessly clean toilet block with hot shower.

Me gustó I liked the cleanliness of site and the pitches. Also dog pen.

No me gustó I disliked the fact that there were no walks from site without going on the road as it was very busy and quite dangerous as a pedestrian. I was lucky to go to the site off season as I think 3 toilets and 3 showers would not be enough if the site was full.

However we do feel that 6/10 is harsh considering that your dislike was the walks from the site (not the actual site, just the walks.) were along roads/lanes. We send you all of the information about the campsite and the local area including walks to you before you arrive. With regards to the toilets and showers, we actually have more than is required. We are sorry that we disappointed you however we are pleased to see that we can't have been that bad as you would recommend us to friends.

Me gustó Our second time here and it is still a great site. There is nothing to stop us coming again.

Me gustó Lovely clean, small site. Small shop for those last minute forgotten items. Great having a small dog park. Lovely surrounding country side.

No me gustó Not a dislike , just a personal preference, a little too remote for us, there is a bus route just outside the site but really every where is a drive away . Again it's not in anyway a negative comment on the site just our own want.

Really clean facilities
Shop was well stocked
Loved the free pool table, the bothy
Safe and secure
Great dog walk area
Loved the adult only peace and quiet
Easy to get get too and close to some nice areas within a short drive
Washing up area was very clean and maintained
Free WiFi was a bonus and really good

No me gustó Showers took a long time to heat up and the showers don’t stay on long enough had to keep holding button in
The bathrooms weren’t warm enough really while showering

Me gustó Loved this site. nice small clean site. Facilities are spotless and Modern.The shop on site had the essentials. Very easy to get onto the A30 then 10 miles to the Devon express way.
The dog run was a hit with our dogs.

Me gustó Very welcoming and helpful owner and the pitch was in excellent condition. The showering and toilet facilities were spotless and comfortable.
Plenty of access and manoeuvring space all situated in beautiful countryside - we had a lovely stay here!

No me gustó Bit disappointed the cafe wasn't open.

Me gustó Stayed here end of August. This is, without doubt, just about the cleanest sites we have ever stayed at.
Incredibly well organised, quiet and with fantastic access to local attractions and amenities.
People obviously return again and again and for all the right reasons.
The thought that has gone into planning and running this site is amazing! Kept spotting clever features all the time.
We WILL be back!
