Me gustó Very spacious bell tent in a beautiful location, lots to keep young children occupied, we had a lovely 2 night stay.

Me gustó Bell tent was very comfortable. Facilities were brilliant.

No me gustó No recycling facilities available. Shop needed to be open for longer.

No me gustó Being in a row of seasonal campers, hardly any were there so it was like being in a caravan grave yard.

Me gustó Beautiful site if you want to be with nature. Great sized pitches.
Good showering facilities, little small with a closed in shower, sink and toilet but they have separate changing areas. Showers were hot and were only as clean and the people using them!
Lovely animals to visit and the weekend events put on are great for the kids if you want to join in.
Play barn has bikes for all aged children so if you’re not able to take your own you can use the sites. We took our own scooters but feel that the site wasn't suitable as paths were stoney or gravel.
Position of site is not fair from local supermarkets and Jurassic coast beaches.

No me gustó There are only two sinks for washing up for the whole site, even though not a big site at prime times we were waiting. They also are outside with no cover so if weather is bad you will be getting wet!

The pitch we were on for camping was very winding and seems to be right in a wind tunnel on windy days. We did have two days where we came back to a lot of damage to some of our things. Pitch numbers 52 and 53.
Try and request the other end of the field if you can and around the edge as sheltered by bushes. But if you are in the middle of the field and along that line like we were make sure you position your tent facing into the field and not facing out to the path. This may help your tent or sent up to be a little more protected from the wind.

No me gustó Playbarn needed a lot of work, lots to be fixed, cleaned and tidied up
Bins not emptied often enough

Dog poo on our pitch when we arrived
No shop apart from a few bits in the cafe, which is only open first thing in the morning
Nothing within walking distance
Pub nearby but not walkable due to narrow lanes
No phone signal and no WiFi

Me gustó Lots of space, large pitches, friendly staff and great events on Friday & Saturday nights. Facilities are clean and modern.

No me gustó Too many dogs off lead roaming, scared our children and entered out tent. Owners didn't care.

Me gustó Great location for days out. We went to a different beach every day. The pitches are big and flat. Plenty of space between the next pitch. We had a tent, porch and event shelter. Great facilities for the kids with a play barn, multiple rope swings, play area, bouncy castle. Good cleanliness for the showers and toilets. Relaxed owners/managers.

No me gustó Minor points, but the water points have hoses connected to them. The one closest to our pitch was touching the ground. They could be cut so they are off the ground. Very few items in the site shop. But not a problem as there are superstores a short drive away. Not a negative, but please remember to bring a 25m cable for electric hook up. It’s mentioned on the booking site.
