What customers say
Spacious, level pitches with great countryside views. Clean facilities with hot showers. Kids love the activities and farm animals. Friendly staff and a relaxed vibe, though it's a bit remote and the shop hours can be irregular. Perfect for a quiet family escape.

Could be better
Powered grass campsite
Liked Pitches were set out well, electric hook up was efficient and site was generally clean and tidy. Showers were hot.
Disliked Toilets not cleaned properly. There is a big issue with campers not cleaning after themselves which is shocking. However, having used a shower after being cleaned I was still shocked at the toilets not being clean and shower not cleaned. Very expensive site for such poor cleaning. Pot washing was left in awful conditions by campers but then not cleaned the next day. Can see why the cleaners would give up, but again the price charged was not reflective of the conditions. Also toilet paper used to bridge gaps in doors is not really great. Great toilet block just not maintained and should be for the price.

We loved the site itself…
Primitive grass campsite
Liked We loved the site itself
Disliked The lack of visible staff, it was blowing a gale and not one member of staff came and checked on the field. One of their luxury bell tents blew down and ripped and two days later it was still left in bits in the field with the bed ect still left their. Kids were riding bikes untill 10.30 every night I just feel it should have been monitored slightly better. Also there is 0 disabled access facilities, not that we needed them but it's a real shame.

OK location for Seaton, Sidmouth, Beer…
Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked OK location for Seaton, Sidmouth, Beer and Branscombe. Showers had hot water.
Disliked Very disappointing and poorly organised site
The road leading to the site is in very poor condition, with numerous potholes.
On arrival at around 2.30pm, there were no staff on site and we had not received any check-in email or information regarding our pitch. When we called the site, we were told that the problem was our fault because we had apparently double-booked, which was not the case. We were eventually given a pitch, but it did not have its own electric supply and we had to share with the pitch behind. The whole situation was very confusing, and the poor mobile signal made matters worse as the phone call kept cutting out.
There is no Wi-Fi across the site, other than at the café, and there were no staff or warden present during our stay. The shop had no stock and was only open for a couple of hours during peak times. The food was very expensive.
We also noticed a number of safety and maintenance issues. There were no visible fire points, most of the toilet doors did not lock securely, and the wooden shower cubicle doors had gaps that had been filled with toilet paper. Most of the showers also overflowed, leaving water across the floor.
The pitch itself had rubbish left behind by previous visitors.
As we had received no check-in email, we had no information about the site or the facilities. The only reason we were able to get any information was because the lady staying behind us happened to be the cleaner for the site.
The play barn was very dated, with old and broken toys. The walks around the site were also steep and covered with loose rubble, making them slippery and potentially unsafe, particularly for children.
Overall, we found the site poorly maintained, poorly organised and lacking in basic safety and customer service. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we would not return.

Lovely views and great clean facilities
Primitive grass campsite
Liked We've just spent nearly a week at this campsite and I must say we had a great time and wish we could've stayed couple nights longer!
We have 2 boys 8 and 15 years old so having a teenager is always 'tricky' to entertain but I must say we all had a great time. We came with our neighbours who also have 2 kids similar age so our kids had their kids to entertain themselves. We played badminton (bought our own net), volleyball, football, board games when the rain came but actually it didn't bother us that much! The weather was mixed which is probably why the site was quieter than expected but we loved it! We went to different beach every day and spent 1 day at the campsite just playing. The facilities were clean so that was a bonus! Great live music on Friday night so yeah I can't fault anything apart from the fact we had to leave. The only down side was we couldn't have fires but that wasn't their fault, just wish we bought more jumpers but where we've been spoilt with hot weather for so long I think we forgot that the weather can change...
Thank you for a lovely stay!!!
Disliked Can't think of anything

Liked We absolutely loved this site! The pitches are a great size and there is plenty of extra space for the children to play which is fab. The toilets and showers and clean, there are play areas for the children and ours also loved the little farm park area saying hello to the goats, sheep and cows. The added bonus of live music and a bbq on the Friday was even better for us parents! Would highly recommend and return!
