South Dean Camping

Me gustó Facilities were great … supplied washing up liquid and sponges (replaced regularly) body wash and shampoos …. Recycle facilities… enjoy sauna or massage etc… supply some fire pits…. Larmas on site to see and roaming sheep which was lovely …. views were out of this world and the walks along the cliff edges on coast were fabulous

No me gustó Not the sites fault but VERY windy take warm clothes hike sticks/shoes for hills rocky paths

Me gustó Best view in all of North Devon, we parked in lower field and had lovely views across the bay to Swansea port Talbot and Gower, the sunset was ABSOLUTELY BLOOMING, heard some interesting accents from people staying on the site although I am not fluent in German or french or Dutch, the showers toilets and sinks were all impeccable and made our stay a little easier, the alpacas were pretty chilled out and just wanted to lay around in the heat, and didn't spit at me or my partner which was always her worry ! We will 100% return next year it was the highlight of our trip

Me gustó I hit it at a lovely time still a little bit of wind but u are on a open cliff top and the sky was clear stayed for one night would definitely return

No me gustó Nothing to not like I never used the facilities as I had what I needed in the camper and only stayed a night

Me gustó Absolutely stunning campsite. Unrivalled views, plenty of room, great facilities and wonderful walks. Highly recommend walking to the river Heddon along the cliff (45mins), then to the beach for a chilly dip (10mins), then to the Hunter's Inn for a pint (20mins). You then have a steep 30min walk back on country roads. Perfect day!

It's also a well policed campsite, which creates a wonderful shared space for everyone to enjoy. If anyone is taking the p*ss with music, dogs and post-10pm revelry, just text and they'll sort it out. Serenity restored.

No me gustó It's a cliff edge so you're at the mercy of the wind. As such, not ideal for small tents. Whatever you're in, make sure you've got enough pegs to secure it or you won't sleep a wink. Once the wind dies down though, you're in paradise.

Me gustó An absolutely brilliant site, the views are to die for. You can choose where you want to be and everyone was respectful of each others space. The facilities were everything you need them to be, clean, plentiful and easy to find.

No me gustó I would say the showers could have been warmer but I love a proper hot shower.

Me gustó Glorious view, sparkling clean comfy facilities, lovely staff and even coffee in the morning! Bliss. The only thing to be aware of is with the cliff top beauty comes fierce wind when the conditions are tricky. Wonderful for kids as massive safe field with llamas and sheep to enjoy!

No me gustó The usual big group of friends with kids all together with massive tents screaming and yelling and singing full volume and drinking with a lack of any concern for others around them - but not much the owners can do when it’s before 10pm, but does reduce the peace a bit if you get unlucky.
