Hendra Holiday Park

Me gustó It’s always had the best time come to this park a few times over the years and to keep returning says it all will be back again next year . It’s the ideal location 5 mins diwn the road from Newquay it has everything you want the staff are so lovely too , it’s absolutely spotless and the pitch we was on had gorgeous views everything was perfect except for the weather but still didn’t let that ruin our holiday . Thank you for the best time !

Me gustó Beautiful and well maintained site. Friendly staff, good food and easy access into Newquay town centre and beach via the land train.
Excellent shower and toilet facilities with plug sockets for hairdryers, straightens etc.
Great pooch bath and shower also available.
Excellent site for children with arcades, entertainment, pools etc.

No me gustó Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in any of the bars/restaurants and entertainment areas. As most families now have a fur baby this should be reviewed. We have not long been to the Cotswolds in our campervan and our pooch was made welcome in 4 star restaurants.
Fabulous outdoor pool but not able to secure our pooch so we could see him whilst in the pool. Due to this reason we did not use the pool or see any of the evening entertainment.
Do take a hairdryer as none built in on site. Reception staff said they were available but the groundsmen said that was incorrect.

We understand where you are coming from regarding where dogs are allowed on the Park and where they are not allowed. It is always hard as a larger site to keep things to standards that meet everyone’s needs and expectations on the Park. Some people do not want to dine in restaurants that allow dogs. It is always hard, and we do appreciate your feedback. We do always review feedback and access how we can improve.

Me gustó The site itself is nice and the free train is a good touch. All the amenities and pools look loverly but has we had dogs couldn’t use anything apart from outside which unfortunately the weather wasn’t good

No me gustó We was t allowed a fully serviced pitch as we have dogs. We paid extra for the pitch and also each dogs on top. Other people shared the same small field with no dogs at a lesser price??? The pitch was dark with over hanging trees and noisy as was overlooked by the Ninja assault course and toilets.

Me gustó Excellent facilities, very clean, more than enough space on our pitch for what we needed, entertainment was great and there was entertainment all through the day and our boy loved it, plenty of activities for the kids to book, loads to do with the skate party, arcades, mini 4x4 hire, crazy golf and more. We had a couple of wet days and there was more than enough to do onsite to keep ourselves busy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Also they have a train that will take you into Newquay town free of charge for hendra guests they also have a train that does a tour of the site every morning with the site mascot on board to entertain the children.

No me gustó We went in the school holidays and we found it to be very over crowded, it was hard to find a table to sit at during the evening in both entertainment rooms and twice we just went back to our accommodation. Also because the swimming pool is open to the public and not just Hendra guests we found it very difficult to book a swimming session. WiFi wasn’t great either and we struggled to get signal at our pitch.

Me gustó The camp site is very clean and tidy.
Swimming pools are really good

The food in the restaurant is absolutely fantastic. We ate in there a few times and the food was 10/10

Staff are very friendly and I thought the prices was fare

No me gustó Only complaint I can say was some of the campers was very load on a night time past the time curfew.
Security was very good to come down to sort this out

Me gustó Entertainment, facilities and close to Newquay

No me gustó The pitch was slanted slightly so made difficult to keep things on the table and slept other way round so we weren't tilted but can't really complain.
