Me gustó The fact that we could have a bbq and that it was close to the toilet block. The staff where friendly and helpful

No me gustó The access to the camping field was a bit of a faff otherwise nothing to moan about

Me gustó Beautiful view and had the whole field to ourselves. First time camping with our new camper and we had a lovely and peaceful time. We could even hear the steam train near by, and the owls at night.

No me gustó Ground was a bit uneven to drive on with some holes in the grass.

Me gustó I had the kingfisher field to myself for the night. I stayed at the top of the field where it's flat, as it slops down. A lovely grass pitch in a large field surrounded by trees. Overlooks a field of vines, and a great sunset view to be had with optional campfire. You can hear the steam railway. Easy to access, there is a road near top but it's not busy. I called ahead as was going to be arriving late, someone came to meet me. The toilet block is old school, but shower is hot and there is even hot water at the outside washing up station. It's a great base to visit the area from. Worth noting it is an activity centre, and the field next to me was full of young adventurers camping for the night, but they were off early doors to do a bit of orinteering.

Me gustó Clean toilets, good views and deer wandering around the site

No me gustó No electric hook up, poor showers. Poor comms from the site office about out of hours access (huge locked gates onto the site)

We do send an email prior to arrival about site access and ask that you arrive by 5pm - your midnight arrival was pre-empted with access details left by the office with your name on it and a number to call if you had any issues. We do like to keep our site secure so that our campers feel safe!

Me gustó Beautiful countryside and very peaceful. Easy to walk from the site

No me gustó Expensive for a non electric pitch. Facilities were adequately clean but tired.

Me gustó Hi, my first experience with my wife in kingfisher campsite was wonderful and exceptional. We owe this great experience to the staff and especially the director Rachael who was very kind and welcoming. She was very understanding and professional. I want to thank her for making it feel like we were part of their family.

Me gustó Nice site with lovely view of the local vineyards and hills. Toilets and showers were clean and lovely to have hot water. The washing up sink outside needs to be plumbed in. Very misleading advertising as campers are unable to use the activity centre Nextdoor. It is for groups of 12 minimum (scouts/guides/organised groups etc) and no option for campers to do any of the activities advertised which was really disappointing. However the Paddlesports at Weirwood Reservoir (15 min drive away) has a variety of water sports to choose from. Lovely cafe there and stunning walks around the reservoir.
The campsite is only level at the top of the hill, with room for a few pitches. The rest of the space is completely unpitchable as severely sloping. Unadvertised is the beautiful walk at the bottom left of the field which takes you onto the mid Sussex link route. The woods there are lovely with a little stream flowing through - perfect for kids and dogs to play in. All sorts of wildlife around too.

Me gustó Really nice campsite. Lovely views.
Quiet ,peaceful, not busy, loads of space.Clean bathrooms
Nice walk through the woods to local pub.
Interesting sandstone boulders nearby if you are into rock climbing.
Weirwood reservoir ,Tullys farm and bluebell steam train nearby.

Me gustó Open space, park where you like, facilities clean and worked well. Camp fire options are plentiful, well used and well respected.
Whole site looked like a really good set up and I'd definitely return if I'm in the area again.

No me gustó Tricky to get hold of anyone before arrival. Latest check in of 1700 was missed because of traffic delays. I couldn't find a contact number that worked to get in touch with anyone. Fortunately on arrival there was a mobile number on the gate that worked straight away but would have been nice to have that information ahead of time.
