St Andrews Lakes

Me gustó: My partner & I took our small camper van for 1 night and the pitch area was perfect for us with a lovely view of the lake. Fire pit and picnic table right next to our pitch for us to use. Shower and toilet facilities were close by for us to use and I must say they were very clean and all times and well maintained. Good food & drink facilities on site although we had our own food, but we brought a couple of coffees that were reasonably priced. The lake is beautiful and we were able to walk along the beach area and see the fish and watch people enjoying the various water sports available. There were many people with dogs who were able to take them out on their paddle boards which was lovely to see. The beach was clean and all staff we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. There was free WIFI and a password was supplied but neither could connect as it kept saying password unknown, we didn’t report this to the office as we only had a short stay.

No me gustó: The hire price for kayaks, paddle boards etc I thought was pretty high for a short time use, as were the deckchairs, this could compromise the decision of a family wanting a day out.

Me gustó: Activities during the day at the Aquapark

No me gustó: The actual camping spot, paid extra for lake view when the apparently non lake view spaces were pretty much exactly the same. nothing to do at all once the Aquapark shut, and I mean nothing not even a grass area to play on!!!

Me gustó: The whole area was busy during the day and then peace and quite by 5 ish lots to do or nothing g your choice Facilities good staff excellent

No me gustó: Would like to have had access to the lake in the evening but u distant why that is not allowed

Me gustó: Another couple of brilliant days at the lake, we were early but was allowed onto the pitch which is a nice and simple affair. A few changes to the place since the last visit and they only make it better. Clean toilet block with a very nice shower which can get busy but it's not horrendous. Lake as normal is well worth the visit with great value for money if you bring your own sup, plenty to rent if not. Always a quiet 🌉 ght for sleeping and now they are not knowing cking us off site until 13:00 which although we didn't use this time is such a great bonus for your day. Absolutely worth another visit and keep an eye on the 25 percent off pitches mid week outside of school holidays..

Me gustó: Everything about this place is amazing. The staff are excellent. The facilities are perfect and very clean. I recommend it 100%.. Bravo to St. Andrew’s Lakes.

Me gustó: Amazing place, a real find! We were heading to Brands Hatch and this was a perfect stop over. Staff very friendly / helpful.

Me gustó: Like the fact it’s a small and safe feeling site (has security etc) All amenities are close by in a building about 20m away (loos, shower and kitchen for washing up which we didn’t realise until following others in!) The lake and the activities are all absolutely fab. We took our own for the £15 pass. Can use their fire pit (have logs etc at their shop £10 so if you have some maybe bring them)

No me gustó: There isnt much you can moan about but could see the fact there is only one shower could mean waiting at times (but we had no problem) The onsite cafe was a bit expensive but prob is because it is more aimed at the lake visitors than the people staying. (£8 for a chicken burger- no chips!) other than those things I don’t foresee any complaints tbh …

Me gustó: Right so if you like water sports then this is the one for you but this is not a campsite it’s a car park when electric the view of the lake is beautiful there are some nice walks
