No me gustó: Lack of facilities, first impression/entrance was off putting, cost was way too high, presentation poor.

I would never normally reply but this was a ridiculous one!

In reality she booked an off-grid campsite with her family. She knew the price and lack of facilities before arriving in her motorhome with all its facilities (the whole point of them). She then had the opportunity to cancel if she realised she had made a mistake.

Her lovely shiny white motorhome is not our usual guest, more like a Caravan and Camping club type that needs mowed perfection.

Nature loves untidy! Shame this was unappreciated on this occasion.

I am so sad that her 16 and 12 year old children found it 1/10 for child friendliness with a 6 acre wood, 40 acres of cliff to roam and fossil hunt, a beach, 45 acres of field to play games in but their concern was no WiFi on a farm!

Not sure what I was supposed to do about her 2/10 for her motorhome and facilities of which I have no control over!

Thank you for the 10/10 for customer service though!

For you Hayley, please realise that giving a campsite a really low score could be detrimental to a small business. Please consider that in the future when you are writing the review on your way home. Perhaps you could use that time more wisely to research where you want to visit next!

Luckily this review stands out like a sore thumb and hopefully future customers will take a pinch of salt with this review. I know our many, many repeat customers do.

P.s Sadly for future customers, to avoid this future ilk staying I have removed the touring pitches and children.

If you are 'our' sort of campervanners and/or don't mind paying per person for your kid/s please just book the number of people in the tent pitches!!! You are more than welcome! 🤗 Call me if you have any questions, Catherine

Me gustó: Great views, fire pit and logs for hire. Excellent for going really off grid. Should point out it’s exactly as advertised - absolutely no facilities! Just one composting toilet and a fresh water tap! Which is exactly what I wanted but won’t suite those who like their home comforts!!

Me gustó: This site is just awesome. Utterly peaceful. Stunning views. Facilities are basic but clean and well stocked. A little piece of tranquil heaven.

Me gustó: I loved it here. The location was beautiful and very peaceful. The sunrise and sunset were great. There was lots of room around the pitches and the lady who greeted us on arrival was very friendly. The compost toilet was clean and tidy.

Me gustó: Simply put it is the best view for camping sites in Kent. It's a great place to get away from it all and watch the sea. I received a lovely welcome and detailed guidance for my stay. I shall definitely be back.

Me gustó: Ideal for a peaceful break wild camping by the sea in our campervan. We loved having so much space, looking out over the sea and sitting around the fire. Our son loved seeing the farm animals and sense of freedom.

No me gustó: The 3 scary dogs in the cage that you have to walk past on the entrance lane to the pitches.

I'm scared of dogs though
