Silverdale Holiday Park

Me gustó We really enjoyed this camp so much to do on there and brilliant that if you do want a day out the bus stop is at the entrance to the park. Very clean toilets spotless can not fault this site and will be 100 percent returning I also liked that the restaurant wasn’t over priced and the food was beautiful

No me gustó Not at all dog friendly. There us more than adequate room in the bar area to have dogs but unfortunately dogs are not allowed internally.

Roads to this site are not good for large vehicles

Me gustó Camped with my two boys aged 3 and 5.

The facilities on site are great! The pool, bowling and soft play for rainy days were a godsend. Equally the play areas were great for the boys to let off some steam.

The site in general was really well maintained and clean including the shower and pot wash facilities.

The ad doc nature of where you can pitch your tent means the site is always changing and you can tailor your spot to what you want.

No me gustó Sometimes the hot water in the shower block and pool did drop off. At the same time I need to realise we were camping and not in a spa resort!

Me gustó Large gravel pitches, all fully serviced which makes things a lot easier.
The park is very well maintained and shower and toilets were exceptionally clean.

No me gustó No adult entertainment in the evenings and some of the other guests were rude but this is out of this site’s control.
The free WiFi was very temperamental.

We also appreciate your feedback regarding our dog policy and the access roads. While dogs are welcome across much of the park, they aren't permitted inside the clubhouse due to food hygiene regulations, and we understand this may be disappointing for some guests. As for the country lanes leading to the site, they are typical of our rural location, and we always recommend driving with extra care.

Me gustó The location and the comfy beds.

No me gustó For the price it would have been nice to have the option for towels. Also a few basic bits in the kitchen like salt, pepper and olive oil.
Having to strip beds before check out and disposing of rubbish also seemed a bit of an ask considering the price point.
The shop onsite could do with a bit of an overhaul, the addition of more fresh produce and local cheeses etc would have been nice.

Me gustó The best campsite we have ever been. Beautiful, clean, sea view, good size pitches . Customer service professional and very friendly. Delicious food in the bar. We had an issue with our touring caravan and they even helped straight away ! Thank you for this. Our kids love this place. We definitely come back.
