Silverdale Holiday Park

Понравилось Great pitches, very spacious and private, bar and pool area are great, shop well stocked, friendly staff and great walks for dogs from the site.

Не понравилось Very little to dislike;
bar and food service a little slow even though not busy - but still friendly. Lanes to site are a bit narrow towing a van, I would not fancy it when busy both ways!

Понравилось On arrival we had a barrier entrance with car registration approval, once making our way to our pitch we was able to choose which one suited us best, they had good sized pitches for our touring caravan with lots of space not too close to others, food was delicious with quick service - reasonable price & we stayed at the bar watched the England game - the atmosphere was phenomenal 🥰!

We enjoyed the pool with the kids great size and children’s area blocked off with shallower water. Variety of different activities available such as arcades, play area and bowling! Our children’s favourites were the ice cream shop (wallings) and the small shop onsite which also had a good selection available to purchase.

There were designated dog walking areas on site which were great for our two dogs to use daily with brilliant views. Alongside this there was two play parks which kept our children happy.

There were clean and well maintained toilet, shower blocks and pot washing area. Further down from us was a dog wash area which came in handy after long walks!

Понравилось Beautiful location, spotless toilets, loved the seclusion of some pitches as had hedges round them. Pool was amazing, loved the ten pin bolwing & food was delicious although quite pricy.

Не понравилось WiFi was poor, affected the kids a wee bit more than the adults, but for a couple of days it was not a big issue as kids were playing most of the time because of the great weather. Its a wee bit of a hike getting to & from the main reception/pool/amusement area, so not good if have mobility issues

Понравилось Loved the pitch set ups, very spacious and lots of privacy. Great parks and lots of amazing walks. Toilets were spotless. We had an amazing time

Не понравилось I can't say I dislike anything but the arcade could be better if it had more options but that's a very minor thing.

Понравилось Facilities very good clean and tidy . Swimming pool looked spotkess and plenty of life guards maintaing pool .(Did not use pool)
Restaurant food great Fish &chips peas good size £19 50 . (Bit pricey)
Bin areas and grounds all very clean no litter very well maintained .
Toilets showers spotless no matter what time of the day.
Brilliant area for walkers, cyclists .

Не понравилось If you move of pitch you loose pitch .I'm disabled in wheelchair. We chose pitch 9 as told to choose any lady circled map. Pitch 9 had lovely sea view but all pitches quite away from restaurant and amenities large hill so not suitable fir husband to push me with him also being disabled so drove up big overflow carpark and as we 7.4 m.great. had food loaded up to go back pitch taken.rang reception to ask about pitch was told that no pitch was guaranteed when you leave it even if you put reserved sign out. So found new pitch as did not want to cause trouble .new pitch right at bottom near toilets etc.nice flat with hedge round view onto mobile caravans. No TV signal.no mobile phone signal and no WiFi signal despite having on board WiFi reciever. Signed into Holgates WiFi and very hit and mis cutting in and out. So came home a day early as wasn't going out as too worried to leave site as would loose pitch. Other people were leaving pitch with chairs set up in entrance but sadly did not stop mean people moving chairs and taking pitch. We have never had this problem before as when we have been allocated pitch that was ours for duration of stay .will be very wary from now on as ruined our break as home on the Saturday , not the Sunday
Had fish &chips peas lovely .no one cane to clear plates looked round 2 other tables dirty plates so we left so lost desert order.

We're sorry that the location and gradient of the park made getting around difficult, and that the lack of mobile signal, TV reception, and inconsistent Wi-Fi affected your stay. While signal strength can vary due to our coastal location, we appreciate how frustrating this must have been.

We're also sorry about your experience with the serviced pitch. We understand your concerns about returning from the restaurant to find your original pitch occupied. We do advise that touring pitches are allocated by the customer but should the customer leave the pitch, this may appear as vacant to another guest arriving on park.

Thank you as well for highlighting the delay in clearing tables in the restaurant. We apologise that this affected your experience and that we missed the opportunity to serve you dessert. We'll pass your feedback on to the restaurant team so they can review.
