Acogedor camping junto al río, con hermosos paisajes y una escapada tranquila. Elogiado por sus potros limpios y la amable propietaria, Liz. Las instalaciones básicas están bien mantenidas. Cerca de paseos y servicios, pero algunos desean más actividades o duchas en el sitio. Se permiten hogueras.

Me gustó Loved the location as it was near to tongue pot . Also a gorgeous little stream going into a river so we had a morning swim and kayak which was perfect as we didn’t fancy going off site for a dip.
No me gustó Toilets and water tap are right at the top of the site and we were at the bottom. Long way to walk at night.
Traffic (mainly tractors) kept us awake all night as it’s next to road! Very noisy and really bright lights. No sleep at all

Del administrador: Am sorry to read this unfortunately our toilet company can’t get down the little track to empty toilets so that’s why thay are at the top unfortunately water tap has to be at top! The tractors where in the valley late last night as it’s that time of year to cut the grass for silage farmers need to get as much done when the weather is right unfortunately that can be late (this dosnt happen every week! ) the road is usually very quite pleased you enjoyed the river this morning liz

We booked a 7 night stay, as we have our own shower and the site has loos.
The river is stunning and there are so many beautiful walks from the site - just ask the owner for ideas, both of her suggestions were 10/10 trails!
No me gustó Nothing to dislike! It’s a working farm so lots of sheep and cattle, it’s run by hard working wholesome people and you cannot complain about a thing!

Me gustó Its my third time to this site and I'm still in awe of the place. From the peaceful surroundings, easy access walking trails, rivers and pools to take a dip in and for those with no fear the Stanley Ghyll waterfall viewing platform. You honestly can't go wrong spending time at Hollin Head campsite, as always a big shout out to the wonderful owner Liz who is very helpful and knows where all the best spots are to explore.

Me gustó Location is amazing - right next to the river, and lots of flat spots to pitch. Liz was very helpful. I forgot toothpaste, and she gave me some. I also lost my lighter, and she gave me hers. Very generous. They sell fresh eggs and firewood at very reasonable prices.

Me gustó This site is a little gem which I have visited before, set along side a river with amazing views and a stone throw from Stanley Ghyll Waterfall you really don't get a better camping experience for an amazing price, Liz the owner is very welcoming and the farm stocks a few items like eggs and firewood. You have a customer for life, love this place.

Me gustó I loved this campsite! It’s very quiet and peaceful, not very busy and set in beautiful surroundings. The only facilities are a tap for drinking water and three portaloos which are the cleanest portaloos I have ever seen!
