Me gustó Wow, such a beautiful little campsite. One of the nicest we have stayed at. It's simple yet effective. We stayed in the pod and the beds were all made up. You had literally everything you ever needed from cutlery, plates, cooking equipment, gas, washing up bowl and liquid ect ect. There is only one toilet and shower near by but to be honest we found this ok because you only share it with the tipi tent guests and found it very accessible and it was lovely and clean. We loved the little outside cooking area and loved the BBQ and fire pit that was supplied. The pictures do not do it justice the flowers surround the pond were beautiful and it was so peaceful. Very well thought out and very good price too. Ruth the owner was very lovely and was on hand when ever you needed. We will definitely be back.

Me gustó Spacious, peaceful, everything you need to camp available. A gorgeous relaxing space.
Loved the added extras like the boat and the biscuits.
No me gustó Only real issue was single shower toilet between 2 pods.
And no WiFi which wouldn’t be an issue normally but was no mobile signal either.

Thank you for those lovely photos and kind words! I don’t actually provide WiFi but am looking into it. I appreciate your comments re the wash hut, it is actually only shared is just shared with tent which only sleeps 2 and has not been an issue in the past. I would consider adding an extra shower and loo but I’d then need to put my prices up and currently the pod is really good value for family or couples getaway with the bonus of only 3 units in a large peaceful area.

Me gustó Our recent stay at the cabin was fantastic. Tucked away in a peaceful wooded area, it provided the perfect escape. The interior was beautifully designed, blending rustic charm with modern touches, making it cosy and welcoming.
The cabin was well-equipped, with a camping kitchen that had everything needed for basic cooking. The shower room was great offering a powerful shower with plenty of hot water.
The fire pit was great for evenings under the stars, offering a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the quiet surroundings. The tranquillity of the area was just what I needed to unwind.
We timed it well with a great Farmers Market in Brampton on the Saturday too so we stocked up on local produce/treats before a lake walk at a country park with the dogs.

Me gustó Accommodation is amazing. Has all the essentials one might need and even above that. The stay was truly amazing.
No me gustó Directions are a little bit off, some sign might be useful that the cabins are away from the front accommodation. Would make it a lot less confusing.
Internet even thou provided worked maybe 25% of the time and then midnight onwards would not work at all. In area where there is no phone signal usable WiFi is really needed to check next hikes and to simply check in with family at home etc.

I have now added more info for finding the cabin on arrival. The wifi is an ongoing battle with the only provider and is at times frustrating especially when you work from home but rest assured we are working on it!

Me gustó We had a wonderful time staying in the cabin which was stunning & the kitchenette was very handy to have! Lovely view from the cabin itself and so much gorgeous wildlife on our doorstep, saw many different birds & even deer! Fabulous customer service, Ruth was fantastic & made us feel very welcome. So many amazing places within a short drive especially if you love natural spaces, bit out of the way which was exactly what we wanted! My partner & I couldn't have asked for better :)

Me gustó I’ve been coming to the hut for nearly 3 years now and keep on coming back.
It’s just abit out the way from the world so you can have a really peaceful time but still be close enough to all the other attractions that bring you to the lakes.
The owners are helpful and considarate always available if you have any trouble.
I would recommend staying here a million times over! It’s basically a cheaper version of therapy aha :)
