Otter Moss Accommodation

Ik was blij met Our recent stay at the cabin was fantastic. Tucked away in a peaceful wooded area, it provided the perfect escape. The interior was beautifully designed, blending rustic charm with modern touches, making it cosy and welcoming.

The cabin was well-equipped, with a camping kitchen that had everything needed for basic cooking. The shower room was great offering a powerful shower with plenty of hot water.

The fire pit was great for evenings under the stars, offering a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the quiet surroundings. The tranquillity of the area was just what I needed to unwind.

We timed it well with a great Farmers Market in Brampton on the Saturday too so we stocked up on local produce/treats before a lake walk at a country park with the dogs.

Ik was blij met Accommodation is amazing. Has all the essentials one might need and even above that. The stay was truly amazing.

Ik was niet blij met Directions are a little bit off, some sign might be useful that the cabins are away from the front accommodation. Would make it a lot less confusing.
Internet even thou provided worked maybe 25% of the time and then midnight onwards would not work at all. In area where there is no phone signal usable WiFi is really needed to check next hikes and to simply check in with family at home etc.

I have now added more info for finding the cabin on arrival. The wifi is an ongoing battle with the only provider and is at times frustrating especially when you work from home but rest assured we are working on it!

Ik was blij met We had a wonderful time staying in the cabin which was stunning & the kitchenette was very handy to have! Lovely view from the cabin itself and so much gorgeous wildlife on our doorstep, saw many different birds & even deer! Fabulous customer service, Ruth was fantastic & made us feel very welcome. So many amazing places within a short drive especially if you love natural spaces, bit out of the way which was exactly what we wanted! My partner & I couldn't have asked for better :)

Ik was blij met I’ve been coming to the hut for nearly 3 years now and keep on coming back.

It’s just abit out the way from the world so you can have a really peaceful time but still be close enough to all the other attractions that bring you to the lakes.

The owners are helpful and considarate always available if you have any trouble.

I would recommend staying here a million times over! It’s basically a cheaper version of therapy aha :)

Ik was blij met Fantastic shepherds hut with everything you need. Peaceful with a lovely outlook and lovely owners. A short drive from a couple of lovely food pubs.

Ik was blij met Nice peaceful site, with plenty of room for my child to play. Facilities were kept nice and clean and camping pod was well stocked with plates, cutlery and cooking equipment.

Ik was blij met Remote and stunning location. Very cosy cabin with all you’d need for a weekend away.

Ik was niet blij met Not really a dislike, but no visitor folder with recommendations for local restaurants/pubs and walks.

WiFi very poor, but the whole point was to switch off. So not an issue for me

Ik was blij met Nice and quiet great location to the lakes and nearby villages every thing you need all in one place.
Very nice host and the hosts mam very warm and welcoming
Love the deers, dog and cats
Accommodation was perfect and very clean separate toilet and shower fantastic.
WiFi was on and off but what a great thing WiFi free for 2days lush
