Me gustó: Everything. Well kept site, facilities were spotless. Staff extremely friendly. The village just next to the site is great. A lot to do, lovely cafes and restaurants and the weather we experienced made a good difference. Would definitely return to this site

Me gustó: Level pitch. Surrounding woods. Secure dog field.

No me gustó: Expensive. Laundry expensive. Kids playing ball where signs say not to, then balls hitting our van. Locked in till 8am. Water taps hard to turn the lever on.

Unfortunatly , although we do try to police the children onsite and have plenty of signage around, we can't always catch them in the act and direct them to the dedicated football field at the front of the park.
As we are primarily a family holiday park we do have to lock the barriers from 10pm until 8am for security reasons and quiet time as people don't like to be disturbed too late at night or too early in the morning. In an emergency situation there is an emergency only phone number and the on call wardens would assist you out of the park if needed within the above hours.
The water taps are pressure assisted and can be rather stiff so you may have been better on one of our fully serviced pitches where you would have had your own normal tap and are able to leave a hose attatched for the duration of your stay.

Me gustó: The toilets and showers are pristine all the time .The pitches are very spacious we were in the paddock . Lots of water taps spread out and not to far to elson / waste water . The village is great on the doorstep albeit expensive for families .

Me gustó: This site was a real find!! Great amenities, everything had been thought about. Blakemere village next door absolutely adds to the charm of the. With the exception of the outdoors place which needs a bit of a revamp.

Me gustó: Our plot was very spacious with sun all day, we were in the paddock which we really liked. The nicest shower block, clean, warm and more than enough showers for how the site was occupied. Great location with good walks and close enough to public transport
Friendly and helpful welcome with a small shop with enough to put you on until you can get to a supermarket

Me gustó: Blakemere Campsite absolutely exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how well-kept and welcoming the site is. Set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, it offers a peaceful retreat while still having everything you need right on your doorstep.

The pitches were spacious, level, and immaculately clean – with plenty of room for our camper and awning. The facilities were top-notch: modern showers, spotless toilets, and thoughtful touches like heated floors and family-friendly amenities. Everything was well-maintained and clearly cared for.

What really sets Blakemere apart is the on-site village – shops, eateries, and activities galore. We spent a fantastic afternoon exploring the boutiques, and the kids were thrilled with the play area and the on-site activities. It’s rare to find a site that balances tranquility with so much to do – and still maintains a laid-back, community feel.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and genuinely passionate about making guests feel at home. It’s clear they take pride in the site, and it shows in every detail.

We can’t wait to come back – Blakemere Campsite is now one of our absolute favourites. Whether you’re a seasoned camper or a family on a weekend break, this place is a gem.

All of the facilities were very well maintained / modern and very clean
The hard standing pitch was ideal and had everything required.
Overall a lovely site with very helpful staff. Will definitely stay here again if in the area
