Ridge Fold Camping

Me gustó Lovely open space. Plenty of walking routes, lovely scenery. Jane worked very hard at keeping the site clean and checking that campers were okay. Very friendly camping hosts. Peaceful sight to chill out from day to day busyness.

No me gustó Quite remote for cyclists with no local shops. Perfect for a couple of days or stopover as a cyclist.

Me gustó I really loved this camp site.
Jane was so lovely and helpful
Came around in the mornings to clean fire pits out and came back around at night to see if you needed any more fire wood.
Very clean showers and toilets.
Lovely views.
My son had a great time with the open field to run around and play.
Very safe for kids to play.
The pitch size was great.
Was recommended for a family.

Friendly owner

No me gustó The way some families/children were allowed to behave near to livestock - chasing them and throwing things near too them. It was not nice to see as the site overlooked the fields this wa happening in.

I am very shocked and saddened to read that someone on the campsite thought it acceptable to abuse our animals, I so wish I had been informed of this as they would have been asked to leave immediately,
So sad that certain individuals have to spoil it.

Me gustó The site was pleasant, clean and tidy absolutely perfect lovely area. Spotlessly clean facilities. Jane the owner was lovely, polite, friendly and went the extra mile for you. Pub wasn’t open but that wasn’t a priority.
I would definitely recommend this campsite to everyone, and I look forward to making another visit next season.

Me gustó I stayed at Ridge Fold Campsite for just one night and absolutely loved it! The location is peaceful, scenic, and beautifully maintained. My pitch was spacious and well-kept, with plenty of room to relax. The facilities were spotless and clearly well looked after. The owner (Jane) was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Even though it was a short stay, it was the perfect little escape – quiet at night, with gorgeous views in the morning. I'll definitely be coming back for a longer visit next time!
