Ridge Fold Camping

A aimé This was my first time camping and it was amazing! Loved the area! Went on little adventure with the children to paddle in the river. It was just so beautiful and calm
The facilities were really clean and the owner was so lovely.
Will definitely be going back

Clean showers and toilet
Provide wood and fires
Friendly owner

Neighbouring pub was shut down (not their fault)

N'a pas aimé Rather noisy at times with someone's radio blasting out. All quiet by 10:30 as per rules so acceptable

A aimé Great camp site with amazing host
Jane couldn't be any nicer if she tried was great to see her bringing the grandchildren to help her proper family run

The site is one of best I've stayed on in the sense of the location is just far enough away from town to relax in the countryside but also close enough to nip back when you forget stuff which we did 😂

The showers and toilets where nice and clean which is good to see as most just have a porta loo

This has become are new local campsite we are back again this weekend

One shower which we couldn’t work to get hot water

Mixed toilets with open urinals
Had to wait for the shower and toilet and the camp site wasn’t even full

When I had a chat with you both on Friday evening you seemed more than happy with the campsite?
I’m not sure what you were actually expecting from a pop up campsite on a working farm that is only open 60 days a year.
May I suggest, you steer clear of pop up sites and look at larger campsites which offer more permanent facilities, obviously though you would have to pay more than £8.50 per person per night.

A aimé Wow what a great little find this was! It was so nice and peaceful with beautiful views. The facilities were spotless, well stocked and had little added extras such as shower gel, feminine products and washing up liquid. Jane was so helpful and welcoming, providing us with firepits and making sure everyone had a great camping experience. It was so nice to meet her lovely little family as well. Can’t wait to come back xxx
