The Little Hide

The Little Hide is just minutes from the heart of York by car, bus or bike – there is a bus stop at the end of the drive. There is lots to do in York, and a lot of it is free – take a relaxing walk along the Bar Walls, or down by the river Ouse, perhaps while away an hour or two in the Museum Gardens, or just marvel at the amazing architecture in the many old buildings. No trip to York is complete without a look at the Minster, Clifford’s Tower or participating in a Ghost Walk! A river cruise is always a nice way to relax, York Boat do day and evening cruises throughout the summer, some involving a pub meal too! Castle Howard – Our largest “big house” and location for the Brideshead Revisited Film. Duncombe Park – With Bird of Prey Centre. Dalby Forest – With many miles of Mountain Bike tracks and Go Ape. Nunnington Hall – Often with an exhibition and a great cafe! Rievaulx Abbey – A splendid place to wander! Eden Camp – Modern History Museum.
