Me gustó: What’s not to like lovely clean site, nice rural location, owner was very friendly will definitely be returning in the near future. Would recommend to anyone looking for a wild camping experience with on site toilets and shower. It’s nice to spend time without technology

Me gustó: Dog friendly, good price, nice owner who was welcoming

No me gustó: Huge slope, dirty facilities, previous campers left loads of rubbish behind, other campers arguing (obv not the owners fault). Didn't end up sleeping there, as would be too difficult to have a flat pitch, not a great vibe with people arguing, didn't help that it was blowing a gale up there!

We are sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us . Whilst we can't do anything to prevent arguments starting between people sharing a tent or about the strength of the wind ,please do let us know at the time if anything on site needs attention then we can put it right .

Me gustó: Cheap site, friendly owner, dog friendly.

No me gustó: Junk yard feel, dirty toilets, massive sloping hill, with no flat spaces to park and put tent up, very windy up there! There was an argument going on and people kicking off as there was a couple in the womens showers, rubbish left all over (by previous campers i assume). Obviously none of that was the owners fault but ended up deciding not to stay, even though we had paid, as it just wasn't for us.

Please let us know at the time if you find the facilities need attention , or there is a problem with the site then we can do something about it there and then . We are saddened and disappointed too by the conduct of two campers this weekend , and the individuals in question will not be welcome on site in the future .

Amazing views
Real toilets!!
Water was hot which was a bonus!
Close to the main town.
Owner was lovely

No me gustó: Sloped Hill
Had an issue with other campers which unfortunately meant we had to get the police involved. This wasn't owner's fault and he supported us.

No me gustó: Unfortunately other gusts spoiled it for us, with inappropriate behaviour more needs to be done to keep it in hand

No me gustó: Only one shower so there was a bit of a queue

Me gustó: Huge open space for pitching up, nice friendly community around the bonfire, no check in and out times so more relaxed. 2 pubs which were 15 minutes walk away :)

No me gustó: Toilet and shower very basic and not really enough for the whole site but was never really busy when we used them anyway.
