Me gustó: Our stay was in a bell tent which was amazing, so confortable, decorated beautifully with really thoughtful touches and welcome treats. The site is immaculate with excellent facilities though not many toilets for the amount of people.

No me gustó: The fact that the bell tents are in the same field as the campers in tents. We had a family group of around 25 people in 6 or 7 tents directly behind us and although I'm sure individually they weren't noisy people, collectively they were with music playing, kids running around our area and dogs off their leads barking and being shouted at. I know it was the kids holidays so did expect a little noise at times. We have camped ourselves for the last 30 years but have taken to glamping in recent times as the units tend to be in quieter areas wherever we've been. Maybe we just got unlucky this time as it would have been so perfect and peaceful if the tents were just a little further away.

If necessary we do use the far side of the glamping field for other tents and on that particular bank holiday weekend we had a family group booked in to spend some time together during the school holiday.

Me gustó: spotless showers, etc. spacious site, access to local walks, extremely helpful and friendly staff.

Me gustó: Beautiful site. Very well maintained. Great farm walk. Very near Hutton Le Hole. Lisa on site was very friendly and helpful.

No me gustó: Press knob showers rather than ones you just turn on. Only a minor gripe as showers clean and spacious. Water was hot

I'm sure you will understand the need to limit the water usage where we can and the press knob facility allows you to get wet, get lathered and then have a hot rinse off instead of leaving the water running unnecessarily. There are gadgets on the market you can equip yourselves with if you felt able to lather with the water running of course.

Me gustó: Excellent extremely clean and tidy , plenty of area for dog walking, stunning views over the moors.

No me gustó: Although we where OK, there is a steep downhill walk to the village

Me gustó: Third time we've been to this site, lovely location, gorgeous site & showers cubicles are very good sizes, hot & powerful too. We will be returning. When you get the confirmation email it tells you which pitch you have, we love this as we just drive in & head straight to the pitch, no need to go to reception, its a simple idea but its a great one.

We've already had some lovely customers who've come and stayed with us for the first time along with some regular customers who already know they're going to love being here! We are having to be strict about dogs on leads but the dog walk more than makes up for it, straight from site, out on to the moors and the Nab, right in the National Park. Glad you enjoyed it!
