Me gustó: A lovely site, surrounded by beautiful countryside . Wenhaston is a lovely village as is Bramfield nearby. Really close to lovely beaches at Walberswick and Dunwich as well as Southwold. We have been coming here for 3 years.

Me gustó: What a lovely campsite. People very friendly and very helpful. Good size pitches and well maintained. Nice and close the to Southwald for a trip out.

Me gustó: Quiet peaceful site with lots of space. As the site had serviced pitches we never used the site facilities but they looked ok if fairly small. Never seen such a large chemical disposal point!

No me gustó: It would be helpful if the site details included “bring levelling blocks” as our pitch had quite a slope - I raised one wheel about 5 inches. The pitch details say all pitches have waste water facilities. They don’t. All facilities are shared with the facilities being in the centre of every other pitch. This is fine for electric and water where it is standard to have long connectors. But how many people have long waste pipes? We were told to just put the waste into the bushes.

Me gustó: A wonderful, level, clean and tidy campsite with lots of space for playing away from the pitches. My son was delighted to see a badminton net, table tennis and football goals. The Shepherds hut was brilliant and a really good size for the four of us and was really cosy with great facilities. Lovely having a picnic table outside too.

No me gustó: No campfires. However bbq’s are allowed and this was lovely.

Me gustó: We had a lovely stay. The campsite is in a great location for visiting the Suffolk coast. It is spacious and has good facilities, which are well maintained including a shop which was very well stocked. There are football goals, table tennis and a netball hoop and a climbing frame and swings. There is also a nice trail walk. We enjoyed a takeaway from Wenhaston but there is also a pub next door to the site.

No me gustó: The futons were not overly comfortable to sit or sleep on in the shepherds hut.

Me gustó: Lots of space in the playing field for children. Clean toilet & shower block. Well-kept pitches.

No me gustó: It seemed that no one on the campsite was given pitches next to groups they had booked with which was strange. Even when we had requested multiple times before arrival. So everyone was separated which made it tricky to be with friends when small children were asleep. That was a shame and would put me off going there again. The manager was not very helpful.

Del administrador: Special requests cannot be guaranteed however Pitchup have now made it possible for me to move bookings, but this is only possible if the pitch required is available. I guess I would have not come across as helpful because i could not move them to there desired pitch, we were fully booked all through August.
