NEPC Caravan and Camping Site

No me gustó: We received a text in the morning to tell us the pitches we can use. Arrived to no reception of any body to welcome us, the toilets were dirty where people had used them and not flushed them, there was a bucket of dirty water and mop left for people to use after using the showers. The toilets were being used buy every Tom Dick and Harry that walked bynot campers. In a farmers field over the back the farmer had a pump running right through till about 2am when it must of run out of fuel but in the afternoon we see the gentleman that owner and he said it stops about 11pm ish, that night we had approx 3 hours sleep we was there as it was supposed to be a quiet site wrong, we went out early came back about 3pm and that pump was running again so we packed up went to see the owner but we was told they where away at Thorpe Park so we couldn't tell them that is not good enough I was not prepared for another sleepless night. Plus the horse fly's was over powering so we went home again, some restful break this turned out to be NOT. Will not recommend this site to any of my friends. Good Luck

Del administrador: From the moment you turned up you was never going to be happy as you said the last site had a pump running 24/7 the whole week you was there in Lincolnshire (Common thing with the farmers needing to water). We have no control over the farmers irrigating OUR food!!! It's not even that noisy! He is always very respectful and turns the pump off overnight and I've passed this on to the farmer. Sorry I went out to Centre Parcs for the day for our little ones 5th birthday but was available on the phone and not once did you try and call?? Re the toilets there was only you and one other in... I can't control what other campers do in there and that every Tom Dick and Harry was the cleaner driving down in her car to clean them as you can see most reviews state how clean they are! We leave a mop in there to encourage people to clean up after themselves. With regards to the horse flys this is a first I've heard but you do get flys in the countryside :( Have a lovely 'pump free' day :)

Me gustó: Very much; nice quiet site; good pitches with electric plugs, water and waste water disposal all on hand. Very clean toilets. Very handy to reach the coast.

Me gustó: Spotlessly clean two toilet/shower cubicles with plenty of hot water and powerful showers. We stayed on a serviced pitch on a slight slope and the grass was short and well maintained. The views were beautiful from the site and there are good walks off site. Our second time here and will definitely be back. There are plenty of service areas for water/disposal.

No me gustó: There honestly is nothing to dislike about this site.

Me gustó: Enjoyed our stay very much. Nice and lovely outdoors. We also loved how family friendly is

No me gustó: Could use a bit of bbq areas . A pre set bbq to avoid any fires/accidents

Me gustó: Peace and quiet - a no frills site that delivers. The site is well maintained, peaceful and Phil is helpful but unobtrusive. We would definitely stay here again

Me gustó: Really clean well maintained. It’s odd to be left alone to just get on with it choosing your own pitch lots of information available about the area etc . The owner is at the end of the phone should you need anything, all our information can in a clear text message loved it will be coming back

Me gustó: Well marked areas for waste disposal and toilet cleaning

No me gustó: The wind ( not controllable by the site) but perhaps consider some form of fencing or hedging to lessen the impact. Complete lack of activities on the site unless you like looking at lots of fields and horses. Would have been nice if there was some sort of kiddies play area.

Del administrador: Thank you for your feedback, however I feel this is a little unfair… We advertise the site as a ‘small quiet campsite’ and don’t advertise that we offer activities and bars etc! As for the wind it was a storm I’m not sure anything would have helped this! Sorry you must of miss read our description and wasn’t what you was expecting.

Me gustó: enjoyed stay friendly staff very helpful, will book again. peaceful holiday just what we wanted.

Me gustó: Quiet, well spaced pitches. Had the owners number to hand incase of emergencies and owner very helpful to us and reversed the car and caravan for me right into our pitch. (I'm a new and very anxious tower at the moment)....

Me gustó: We liked the proximity to the beach and local amenities. Whilst still feeling like you’re in the middle of nowhere. Lovely to wake up next to the horses and to watch the tractors at work. The facilities were clean and showers were hot. Ample amount of electric hook up’s with connecting water for the size of the field. Hosts were friendly and accommodating.
