Me gustó: It’s a lovely site lots of trees and spaced out places to put tents up, toilets and showers clean, staff very friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again

Me gustó: Peaceful gladed area Well defined pitches Able to leave car in car park so just got away from it all Great warden couldn’t help enough with tour of facilities

No me gustó: Maybe slightly better sign so you can slow down safer when getting close to entrance

Thank you for the feedback about the taps and washing facilities. The water pipe only runs along one side of the site (from the housing estate behind) which is why it's where it is. However, we can look at getting a water tape put further near the front of the site, on the same side. We will add this to our list of things to discuss for 2025. We hope to see you again soon! Me gustó: We stayed in the Solo pitch which was lovely and secluded, it felt like a true wild camping experience. You truly felt like the only ones on the camp site.

No me gustó: What's not to like. If you like the idea of a wild camping this is as close as you can get to experiencing it.

Me gustó: We loved how peaceful and private our pitch was. We really liked how the cars were parked in the car park which encouraged a bit of exercise to get to our pitch! The showers were warm and there was never a queue for toilets. Harry the head warden was friendly and helpful.

No me gustó: No phone signal, but that is also a good thing!

Me gustó: Just what i wanted from a nearly wild campsite. Fantastic named pitches of varying sizes which we loved exploring around the pathways. Good amenities, purchasing of fire wood etc for fire pits and really helpful and friendly wardens. Didn’t get around to doing the trenches tour but will definitely be back for that . Also loved the bird identifying boards. Huge thumbs up for this site!

No me gustó: The lock on the gate was a bit of a faff as it did get jammed but was saved by Harry or 2 cars would have been stuck on the busy road

We are in the process of building an extra toilet towards the front of the site, unfortunately that building got delayed for this season. Me gustó: Amazing site - camping in glades and clearings in a small woodland. Very private. Every site different with something to offer. Beautiful trees and birdsong. Site of historical interest. Hot water hand wash in loos.

No me gustó: Very busy on our first night and the facilities were a little stretched
