The Olive Tree Bistro Camp Site

Me gustó: From the second we arrived on site we knew we had booked a great place, the site is extremely well kept as is the pub/restaurant. The pitch was loose gravel which was perfectly level and did not hold any water after heavy rainfall, opposite the pitch was a freshly cut lawn with a 4 seat bench and table, at night the site has excellent lighting with a gated entrance. Our vehicle is over 7m long and would have fitted on any of the various identical pitches. Theres an on site wet room, toilet, and washing facilities all being very clean and well kept. The food in the restaurant was excellent (top marks to the chef) lastly the site is run and owned as a family concern and nothing was too much trouble . Good phone signal and very easy to find with a large entrance/car park in front of the camper/motorhome/caravan pitches . Well deserved praise IMO

Me gustó: Lovely clean site, restaurant on site with own private table benches. Polite and friendly manager. Easy access

Me gustó: Nice clean well maintained site with really helpful and friendly owner. Lot of work been put in by the new owners and I recommend it.

Me gustó: Lovely flat site, well kept and clean. The site is behind the bistro so didn't have any bother with road noise. We were disappointed that the bistro wasn't open on a Monday as it was one of the reasons we booked it. Pitchup site doesn't seem to mention it but it is on the owners website. They do intend to open Bank Holiday Mondays. Showers and toilets are basic, but kept very clean. I did manage a nice hot shower, only a matter of being gentle with the controls! Fan heater was welcome. Somewhere to sit on in the larger one (where there is room) to save balancing on one leg to get dressed would be nice. A good summer time stop over - no heating in toilets and a bit drafty.

Me gustó: Easy access to road and Supermarkets close by. Owners / Staff very friendly and helpful. Flat hardstanding with plenty of room. No extra charge for our dog or awning. Toilet / showers very basic but clean and adequate. Good value for money.

No me gustó: Wooden picnic benches provided but no use if covered in bird poo.

Me gustó: Absolutely lovely small site, had all of the facilities required. Clean bathrooms, bar onsite and nice and quiet!

Me gustó: Lovely small campsite with an excellent bistro pub on the site , clean showers and toilets. Generous sized pitches . Ideally situated for trips to the coast

Me gustó: A loverly site, well maintained and plenty of room, toilets, shower and even a wet room, quiet and level hardstanding pitches the site is of easy reach of attractions and coasts. The Bistro is very nice with helpful friendly staff and the food is outstanding... booked to go back again later this year for a longer stay.

Me gustó: On arrival we were welcomed and shown to our pitch. The pitch itself was as described hard standing with grass, which nice and level and well maintained. The facilities were also clean and looked after. Food on the pub was excellent, good beer and the staff were friendly.
