Me gustó Lovely quiet small site.
Good location near Sheringham and Felbrigg Hall.
Very clean toilets and warm showers.
Liked not having cars on site, but trolleys provided made it easy to move our things.

Me gustó Facilities were clean and in good condition. However when the site was full (15 pitches - several with children ) two toilets are not enough and queuing outside in the rain is not fun!

No me gustó Noise ! There is noise from the adjacent road and screaming motorbikes at night on the A148. The site is also on a flight path for military jets and other light aircraft so at times there is a steady stream during the day of very loud aircraft noise directly over head.
The site is also next to a large field on a working farm and the farmer was ploughing his forks from 7pm until 10pm at night, just a few feet the other side of a hedge from our pitch and throwing clouds of dust over the hedge with a very noisy tractor and machinery.
This was not at all quiet or relaxing. I have no problem with the farmer as he has a farm to run and I’m sure the farm was there long before this field was used for camping but this is just not a suitable site for a camp site, for the reasons given above.

The site is also closely overlooked by several houses at one end so you do feel that you are being watched - strangely, this is not shown on any of the photographs on the web site !

Most of the site is also very uneven ‘lumpy’ ground. I would guess it was a field that has been previously ploughed but it has not been flattened or leveled properly so the site, including the pitches, is hard to walk on in places and you have to watch your footing - especially at night when it’s very dark.

Me gustó Location was brilliant. Site itself very pleasant. Helpful to have the kettle and fridge. Toilets and showers clean.

No me gustó Wood for sale did not burn well. Mouldy and wet. Not sure why the insistence was on using that wood!

Our team will look into the issues you raised with the wood. We have logs and charcoal onsite to make it easier for all guests but don't insist that guests only use our wood.

Me gustó The location is fabulous. Close to Sheringham and Cromer by car. Clean and everything available

No me gustó The weather! Not anyone's fault but rain can make things difficult! I would say the site was smaller than I imagined. And we had lots of trouble making a BBQ and a fire. I appreciate that's the weather however we were really cold all night.

I hope you found the instructions in the tents to how to light the fire - I would have been more than happy to come up and help you light your fire to make you comfortable in your tent as I have done for other guests.

Me gustó I was a single dad with two teenage children. The site was much nicer than what was shown on pitchup . Like the way the grass and wild flowers were allowed to grow naturally between some pitches, clampers, playground, etc , and little “avenues” or paths were cutout to other parts of the site, all providing an extra sense of privacy and overall nice experience. Great idea that you can’t drive your car directly to your pitch - reduces car traffic in an area where there are young children playing.

Some more signage directing campers to their pitches as opposed to those just glamping would be appreciated.

There’s a pub just up the road if you don’t fancy cooking

Me gustó We enjoyed a wonderful two nights at this camping site. We book a nonelectric pitch with a good and clean facilities. With a very hot water in the shower, for me is too hot for summer time. In rest everything was absolutely perfect.

Me gustó Lovely well maintained site in a beautiful location. Very close to Cromer and Runton but far enough away to be very peaceful and relaxing.
Georgy is a lovely host who has a good balance of keeping the site feeling very relaxed whilst always being contactable if needed.

No me gustó A bit too busy for comfort on the Saturday night/Sunday morning, but that's just personal preference. Perfect for the rest of our stay.

Me gustó Spacious field, big skys.
Clean loos and hot showers.
Fridges and fire pits.

No me gustó Uneven ground with quite a few thistles and nettles.
Not much wood for the firepit.

We note that you booked a non-electric grass tent pitch, to bring your own tent to rather than one of our glamping bell tent pitches. These come with beds, wood burning stoves and additional luxuries.
We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and would welcome you back if you would like to try out glamping or camping with us.
We do provide full bags of logs for the fire pits which can be arranged in advance or bought on site.

Me gustó This was a nice stay and good price.
Liked that there was a shed that had a fridge and kettle in for people to use.

No me gustó Could do with more facilities, toilets and washing station was busy on a morning when everyone is getting up.
