Me gustó: Location/set up was good. Lots of walks around the 'lakes'. Apparently there is a pub nearby but we couldn't find it even though we were given directions.

No me gustó: When we arrived at 12 noon to check in were told there was no one available til 12.30, we decided to have a drink from the cafe. So £6.50 and half hour later I went to check in. The waitress said 'hadn't I been told there wad no one to check us in until at least 1pm. I queried this and said the chap serving had told us 12.30! She then went off to find out, came back about 5 minutes later to say that the Warden had arrived and to wait in reception. I waited another 5 or so minutes before theh appeared, there was no apology for us waiting. I was then told where we were pitching. Good set up not many tourers, looked ideal for us. Went out for lunch/tea, on our return we settled in for the evening. Around 6 the caravan opposite decided to play some very loud thumping music. After a while when it didn't stop I took my dogs for a walk and was glad that on my return they had turned it off. The following day we went out sightseeing, again had our evening meal and the music started again! We went out for a walk and luckily enough on our return the musiccwas turned off a little while after. Unfortunately even though the site was good we won't be returning, just one issue too many and also no phone signal.

Me gustó: Great place to stay for a mini break! Our kids loved the farm animals on site and we enjoyed the mayfly cafe (and their cakes!). The sites facilities were clean and modern and the pitches were level gravelled, perfect for us to pitch up and enjoy the sunshine. This was great for fishermen/women also as there were lots of lakes and tournaments going on whilst we were there - after 5pm they are great to take a walk around as its so beautiful when the sun was setting. Would highly recommend!

Me gustó: The cafe was lovely with great options for all, the animals were a special treat it was lovely to see and feed them daily. The owners were really friendly.

Me gustó: It was well laid out, plenty of space between the pitches, the field we were on the pitches were quite flay. Plenty of areas for the kids to play away from the fishing lakes. Very quiet at night. The Mayfly cafe was lovely, the food was great & reasonably priced. Kiddies play area was good. Loved the animals & the fairy walk. Nice walks straight from the site for the doggy's or ramblers. Close to other areas of interest. Toilet & Shower block was new, clean & fresh. The staff were absolutely lovely 😍

No me gustó: A little bit disappointed with the shop, we expected a bit more in choice of locally sourced produce, such as bread, cheeses, milk & meats. The shop is mainly set up for fishing.

Me gustó: The site was perfect for a quiet relaxing break and if you enjoy fishing or even just sitting there and watching the others fish this is perfect for you. At the front of the site there are various animals that yourselve or your children can go and see. The cafe gets very busy so that in its self tells you how popular this place is.

No me gustó: There was nothing really to dislike for a short break but make sure you are stocked up with your essentials because the shop has very limited stock and items. However if you are a person used to camping you would be prepared for this.

Me gustó: We really enjoyed our stay here, plenty to do for the kids, from visiting the animals on site to enjoying the cafe area and watching the kids play at the park. If you like your walks there's a couple of nice trails right from the campsite and even just walking around the fishing lakes on site were nice.
The staff at the cafe were really nice and helpful when asking for advice on the amenities and things to do locally.

No me gustó: Not a huge issue but if you are staying on the tent pitching area the toilet and shower facilities are on the caravan pitch side. Which especially if you need the toilet in the night is a bit of a walk.

Me gustó: We recently stayed at Cob House Country Park in our motorhome and had a fantastic experience. If you’re looking for a peaceful countryside retreat with character and charm, this is a gem worth discovering.

Location & Access:
Set in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside, Cob House is easy to reach, even with a larger motorhome. The approach is straightforward with clear signage and good access. Once on-site, there’s ample space to park and manoeuvre comfortably. It feels wonderfully rural but is only a short drive to Worcester and nearby villages for essentials.

Motorhome Facilities:
The hardstanding pitches are level, well-spaced, and maintained to a good standard. There’s room for an awning, and water and electric hook-ups are available. Facilities are simple but functional. It’s not a full-service touring site, but it offers everything you need in a clean, relaxed setting.

On-site Attractions:
Cob House has a unique charm thanks to its open-access animal enclosures and peaceful grounds. We loved visiting the alpacas, reindeer, goats, chickens, and ducks. It’s ideal for families, but equally enjoyable for adults who just appreciate nature and tranquility. The walking trails and fishing lakes add to the relaxing countryside vibe.

The Mayfly Café, open every day, is a real highlight. The food is excellent – all homemade and generously portioned – and the coffee is top quality. Whether you’re after a hearty breakfast, lunch, or a slice of cake and a cuppa, the café is well worth a visit (or several). Having it right on-site is a real bonus.

Local Pub:
If you fancy a change of scene in the evening, the Mason Arms is a superb country pub just a 15-minute walk from the site. It’s cosy and welcoming with great food, friendly staff, and a solid selection of local beers and ciders. A lovely spot to unwind after a day exploring.

Atmosphere & Setting:
The site has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and the rural setting is genuinely calming. It’s spacious, with plenty of room to enjoy a peaceful stay without feeling crowded. Dog owners will appreciate the open spaces and walking areas – it’s a very pet-friendly place.

Staff & Hospitality:
Everyone we met was warm, helpful, and clearly passionate about the park. Staff are on hand if you need anything and happy to give advice or local recommendations. It has that personal, welcoming feel you don’t always find at larger sites.

Overall:
Cob House Country Park is a refreshing alternative to traditional campsites. It offers a mix of nature, comfort, and charm in a setting that’s both peaceful and engaging. The on-site animals, café, fishing lakes, and nearby pub make it a great base for a short break or a longer stay.

We left feeling recharged and already talking about when we’ll return. Highly recommended for motorhome travellers looking for something a little different, in the best possible way.

No me gustó: Not a complaint – just a couple of suggestions:

Having Wi-Fi available throughout the camp (happy to pay a fee for access) would be really useful. Given the location and the challenge of getting a reliable TV signal, it would definitely help.

It would also be great if the café could stay open beyond 4pm to serve drinks, etc. A large TV showing music or sports would make it an even more inviting spot to relax in the evenings.

Me gustó: All staff were really friendly and helpful. Café onsite was nice and fair price. Fishing was good .Lovely walks and really pretty area to explore.

No me gustó: Small shower block (only 3 female showers ) for whole site.Showers didn't stay on for very long which made it tricky when washing and trying to rinse your hair!!!!Unfortunately cafe closes around 4 o'clock, so be prepared with food for the evening if you're not planning to head off site. No mobile signal and WiFi very hit and miss
