Me gustó: So much to praise, lovely views, pitch well spaced with water and electric on pitch. Staff could not do enough to help. Pub was such a hidden jem, could not rate the food high enough, fantastic Sunday lunch.. Toilet and showers spotless Quiet location but within easy reach of attractions. The monkey forest was within 20 mins drive and well worth a visit. We have been caravaning for over 40 years and this site is without doubt a favourite.

Me gustó: We were pleasantly greeted on arrival and directed to our pitch. Lovely spot, surrounded by hills, countryside and animals. The pub is so lovely and there's access to great food on your doorstep - whether on site or just up the road at The Royal Oak. I was so pleased to see how popular Charlie Bassett's is (credit to what they offer) and yet our stay was peaceful and we had the best sleep. There are plenty of picnic tables (our pitch had it's own) and outdoor spaces to enjoy a drink. We'll be frequent visitors.

No me gustó: I think people should know that there is only one male & female shower (which is perfectly clean and modern) to service the whole site. Also, come on guys, get with a recycling programme.

We have plans to Build a Bigger Female Toilet block for The Ladies with more showers and Toilets + Disabled Block , when fund/budget allows us to, But i think all would agree the Facilities we have are A1. We do have a Certain amount of Recycling you may have not Seen the Red Jumbo Bins in the little Compound , But to be Honest if everyone did it that would be Great but we end up with items just thrown in the wrong Bins , So our Waste goes with Biffa were it is all then separated in there specialised Sorting / Recycling Facility . So all gets recycled in the end !! Hope to see you again in the Future . BEST REGARDS Team Charlies

Me gustó: Facilities very good and very clean. Pitch size was extremely sizeable and loved the use of individual water taps. Friendly staff and made us feel very welcome. Even though we had a lot of rain, lightning and thunder it didn’t dampen our spirits and was beautiful to watch.

Me gustó: What a great place to stay, easy to access yet secluded enough to feel away from it all, all the staff are really friendly and welcoming and explain everything you need to know, facilities are great and spotlessly clean, and the big bonus is the food and drink available on site, a nice walk into local village with its community grounds or local shops in the other direction make this an easy enjoyable trip away.

Me gustó: Great little camp for all ages, very clean and tidy , staff very welcoming polite and always happy to help and have a friendly chat. Food is beautiful and reasonably priced. Have some fabulous entertainment. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay.

Me gustó: Great stay and good facilities. Sam and the team looked after us and made us feel very welcome. Good entertainment at the pub over the weekend with a great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Me gustó: Really nice atmosphere and bonus with the tavern and restaurant being on site. Being caravan newbies we had a few problems with the van, but staff and locals were super friendly and were on hand to help when needed. Couldn’t fault the site and would stay again.
