Me gustó Very clean site and facilities with friendly hosts and a great location for the wondering the South Shropshire hills. WiFi was onsite but due to the location didn’t always stay connected.. but you can’t argue with free WiFi and affordable pitches!

Value for money is great!

No me gustó The approach was narrow but being in a motorhome most roads are! It was only a half mile side road from the main B road. The gate onto the site was also a little tight but manageable with the large gateway opposite. Our motorhome was as wide as they go so campervans would have no problems.
The location was down in the valley so phone signal was non existent which wasn’t a problem.

Me gustó Mandy and Jack are super friendly and helpful hosts. The location is fantastic, no traffic, gorgeous views and only relaxing rural sights and sounds. We love how off the beaten track it is. The facilities are simple but adequate and really well maintained; even with a little stall with things you might have forgotten and firewood. We can’t wait to visit again!

No me gustó Absolutely nothing

Me gustó We stayed in our campervan on a lovely pitch overlooking the views at the back. We had a bbq on a dry, warm sunny evening and the following day had a wonderful walk in Clun.
Everyone is super friendly and the hosts couldn't be more accommodating. First class.

Me gustó Thank you Mandy and Jack for a wonderful family weekend stay. You were very accommodating making our stay relaxing and stress free. Facilities were great, especially the little extras in the shower room, lovely touch!! and the additional extras you can buy, our son loved the giant marshmallows!! The site was well kept and thank you for the chalk board to play on, again our son loved it. Will definitely be back for another peaceful stay!! 😀

Me gustó The rural location - when we managed to find it!

No me gustó 1 toilet with a shower inside just wasn't enough for the size of the site.
We were plugged into a plughole on an extension reel fixed to a fence which therefore wasn't very safe.
The shower at 20p for 3 mins didn't leave much time after adjusting the temperature & therefore needed to get out & put in at least another 20p!

Me gustó Beautiful site, wonderful owners, the little honesty shop has lots of essentials you might have forgotten and the toilet/shower has been really nicely put together. The views from the site are also stunning, as were some of the local attractions and walks.

I would definitely return, but would try to avoid when the site is at maximum capacity.

No me gustó The camping field itself is very small, too small for the current capacity when it's full - you can just about squeeze in the tents and the cars but you're not spaced out. Whilst it's lovely to see kids playing, when there are balls/foam airplanes/projectiles hitting the tents and cars, it isn't very appropriate, and the site is not large enough for these types of toys. Whilst I wouldn't recommend not allowing children, it should be noted that the site is meant to be small and peaceful and children should be able to respect this.

There is also only one toilet which has the shower in the same hut, so if someone else is showering you are unable to go to the loo. The shower is 20p for 3 minutes which is not an excessive time to wait but by the time someone has showered and got dressed afterwards, if you were bursting for the loo you might struggle - it might be handy to have the two separate or to have an additional loo if at all possible.
