Me gustó Fantastic. Great site, great pub, great wine (my husband said an excellent pint of ale too) and brilliant food.
Can’t wait to visit again. Thank you Peter for your amazing hospitality. Oh and that door!!! How much has that door seen over the centuries. England winning 4-2 was icing on the cake. ❤️

Me gustó The pub was nice with good food, the pitches were level and very friendly staff. The whole site was very clean.

No me gustó Needs more toilets even though you could use the pub ones 24/7 there are only 3 showers. The grass could have done with a cut and the spacing was odd. The howling dogs woke us up several time but that’s not under their control.

Me gustó Stayed here for the first time over the weekend and it was absolutely fabulous. We were made to feel extremely welcome. The pitch and facilities were great. Each pitch has their own electric and water supply. Lovely clean toilet block with hot showers. The pub onsite is so lovely and welcoming. The food was awesome. Just a 6 minute drive to Aldi or Sainsbury’s and beautiful Bridgnorth. So peaceful in surrounding countryside. Can’t wait to go back. Many thanks to all the staff and Pete the owner who welcomed us.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, although we're a little surprised to receive it over a month after your stay.

For clarity, your pitch was not directly next to the toilet block. There is a holiday cottage situated between the touring pitch area and the shower/toilet facilities, so guests are not positioned immediately adjacent to the building.

Regarding the toilet door lock, we were made aware of the issue during that particular weekend and it was repaired immediately. As with any busy holiday park, occasional maintenance issues can arise, but we always aim to resolve them as quickly as possible.

We're pleased to see you enjoyed the pub and overall surroundings.

Having noted that three of your four campsite reviews are similarly low-scoring, it may simply be that touring and caravanning parks don't quite match your expectations, which is, of course, entirely your prerogative.
