No me gustó: Don’t recommend! … When looking at this campsite on google it looks so pretty and a lovely sight, till you arrive and its water logged/ run down and unclean! • Toilets didn’t get clean the whole time we was there (2 nights) mud and grass everywhere and covered in cobwebs • Where the washing up station was there was 2 bin bags full of garbage just left on the floor and the bin was also full that never got emptied. • Dog poo bins full also never got emptied • There was a massive tent at the back they used for weddings but there was rubbish/ building materials just chucked around it. • Also there was massive pile of rubbish at the bottom of the car park, old mattress/ lawn mowers/ doors/ literally everything! • We could only put our tent in 1 place due to everything being water logged and super muddy! And had to walk through the mud to get to anywhere on the campsite

Del administrador: Hi Georgia Many thanks for uploading the photos, as you will see those bollards are up to protect the grass from getting churned up like it did at the weekend!! The toilets were cleaned daily - we ask that you leave the toilets as you expect to find them! The rubbish should be put in the skip - as told when you check in The Tipi company have been on and off site since last Thursday making this perfect for our upcoming brides and grooms and unfortunately they need to leave equipment here sometimes and it cannot be done all from the inside so the outside on the grass needs to be used! The Lawn mowers were not left out - these are an expensive piece of equipment so these will have been put away!! The doors are stored in our caves - if people have got these out, even though they shouldn't have, then that is not our fault? 1 place to pitch your tent on 5 acres of land? We have had a busy weekend with 25+ pitches so we find this hard to believe. We have had dry weather since Saturday! If you had a problem you should have come to us to voice your opinion instead of plastering it all over our reviews? Regards The Old Vicarage Team

Me gustó: Its a friendly camping site, river bank is so nice and kids had the best time , enjoying the river. I loved the cave bar! :)

Me gustó: The site was lovely, felt very safe. Staff very freindly and approachable Clean toilet cubicle.

No me gustó: The rude campers next door (however not the sites issue can't be helped)

Me gustó: Loved the site, would definitely go back. Loved the river and good facilities. Great you could pick where you wanted to pitch up too. A great family site

Me gustó: Perfect small campsite right next to a river. Ice cream van arrived on Saturday. Bar and fire pits available to rent and wood for sale made for a fun evening.

Me gustó: Reception really friendly and helpful. Great lodge with all comforts. Large bathroom and comfy bedroom. Well equipped with cooking utensils. The grounds are lovely with beautiful stream. It was a really happy site with everyone enjoying their weekend break. Brilliant for children to have fun.

Me gustó: Everything was perfect. Clean facilities, friendly and accommodating. Great space for kids with play area and lots of various swings. Small stream for water fun.

No me gustó: Nothing to dislike

Me gustó: Everything about the campsite is perfect location amenities bar stream it literally had it all ! Will be booking again soon!

No me gustó: Only thing for improvement would be additional showers but it’s not a major concern.

Me gustó: Lovely quiet, picturesque site. Kids loved the play area and playing in the river. The bar being open was an unexpected positive addition.

No me gustó: Toilet block was a bit basic but from other reviews and comments, can see a new block is due to be added. Noise from A1 noticeable during the night, but we were on the closest spot to the driveway so maybe not so bad on rest of the site.
