Me gustó: Amazing location. Great facilities, very clean. Owner so friendly and helpful. Hired a firepit and brought free range eggs. Free roaming hens which i was allowed to feed- highlight. Pitches large, peaceful nights sleep, near great dog walks, our pooch loved the woodlands. There is a dog wash facility, but we didn't need tp use it. Overall highly recommend.

No me gustó: We only booked for 1 night, could have done more. So much more to explore in tge area.

Me gustó: This is really lovely campsite. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, it is peaceful and tranquil. The facilities are great and kept exceptionally clean. The pitches are spacious with great views. Electricity only cost us £1 for 4 nights! The summerhouse has information on local walks and Kelly is around to give advice. The mowed pathways and free range hens make it a lovely place to stay and you can buy the eggs too which are delicious.
The bluetit chicks in the nest in the roof of the facilities block fledged whilst we were there - made my stay! Genuinely the best campsite we have stayed in, with helpful and friendly owners. Many thanks! We highly recommend this campsite!

Me gustó: Wonderful countryside pitch very generous, Host Kelly clearly passionate about the site and so very friendly and helpful, facilities basic but immaculate, loved the chickens roaming free and the way areas are left for the wildlife and pollinators, an all round perfect stay for us

Me gustó: Lovely location. Quiet and peaceful. Lots of scope for walking and cycling from the campsite with helpful information provided in the summerhouse. Very friendly welcome.

Me gustó: Lovely peaceful site with great views, free roaming chickens & decent size pitches. Modern, clean facilities. Showers do have a quirk to getting them to work but they're beautifully hot and good pressure. Very friendly owner. Footpaths direct from the site and an information shed with pre planned walks & os map of the area. Dog friendly with a lovely dog wash. Perfect place to get away from it all!

Me gustó: Fantastic campsite!!
The site is super pretty, we really enjoyed watching the sunset each night round the fire pit! There is so much wild life on site, including deers and lots of birds! The pitches are very big and spacious and the site is not over crowded and was very quiet all weekend. Kelly the host was really friendly and on hand really quickly for any questions.
Theres some great local walks which our host told us about, and there's a cute information shed on site with lots of local information. You can tell the hosts really care about the site and doing a great job.
We really enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again! Many thanks for having us!

No me gustó: The only small thing is the showers flooded quite a lot and the shower goes cold if you don't keep the button pressed in which gives you a bit of a shock. However the host has provided instructions on how to use the showers and provided a mop and a drying mat to stand on so they have tried to rectify the issues as best they can. The facilities were very clean and always stocked up with everything you needed, and I liked the camping wall hangings in the bathroom, was a nice touch.

Regarding the showers, I just wanted to explain that the boiler is a direct feed for hot water, so it’s important to keep the shower button pressed throughout – if it’s released, the boiler stops producing hot water, which can cause the temperature to fluctuate.

As for the bathroom floor, I completely understand your frustration. It is a design issue we’re aware of, and while I would love to redesign the facilities in the future, as a new business it's not something I can do just yet. Over the bank holiday, I was checking in and mopping up at least five times a day, as well as topping up toilet rolls, to keep things as comfortable as possible for everyone.

Me gustó: I had an amazing time at West End Farm. The facilities where the cleanest I have ever seen and you could tell the whole site was well looked after. The pay as you go electric is always my preferred way to camp (if I am using electric) as I never really use that much (I used 20p over 3 days!). Kelly and Nick made me feel safe and welcome and were always on hand if I needed anything, but at the same time I didn't feel like they were hovering. Having a covered area to wash up was welcomed and at a good height with unlimited running hot water. The toilets where always stocked with soap and toilet roll. The showers had plenty of hooks and a raised board to stop you getting soggy feet after your shower. Hairdryer and mirror should you need. The muddy boot/dog wash was a nice added extra and even that was spotless! The location was perfect for a few days to rest and recharge in nature. I will be back!
