Barlings Country Holiday Park

Me gustó Lakes and wildlife. Lots of moor hens and squirrels and very pretty with autumn trees.
Lovely friendly reception.

No me gustó Shared bathrooms are bright clean and functional but could be better designed.
Sinks are way too small and towel dispensers and soap are above the sink (rather than a mirror) making it awkward to use them. Nowhere to dry wet hair. No shelves to put toiletries. Fine for a short stay over a weekend but would struggle over a longer spell.
Pitch was on grass rather than hardstanding. Had to walk through mud and goose poo to get to dog walk.
Pot wash is outside, not ideal in winter. Never found the laundry.

Me gustó The location is great. Close to Lincoln & we booked to be close to Rand Farm.(10min drive away) It was a peaceful site (most of the time, just one family who spoiled that) Each pitch on here is close to the facilities which were clean all of the time.

No me gustó The pitches just need re-doing. We paid for hard standing but the ground was solid because it was barely a pitch anymore.

Me gustó This is probably the best site I've been to the best kept site and the reception staff was fantastic my wife and I would most definitely be coming back were even considering having a permanent pitch here

Me gustó Loved our spot near the lake,nice and peaceful

No me gustó Don't like toilet and showers men and ladies together l Also nowhere to put your shower gel etc.. When the floor is being mopped the water should be changed every time because it was being mopped with dirty water.so basically just putting dirt down again. Think they should close for a hour in a morning and same again at teatime to be cleaned properly

Me gustó Peaceful surroundings, clean toilets and showers, the lake with ducks and geese (kids managed to catch a fish!) all staff accommodating and friendly.
The bus stop isn’t too far to walk to - catch a bus to Lincoln and Skegness.
This park is great for families with older children as there is no park on site. Bring lots of games as it’s good for no screen time.

Me gustó Good pitches around lakes.
Clean toilet/ shower block.
Pleasant staff.
A short drive to Lincoln.
Bus stop a short walk away.

No me gustó No motorhome service point for filling with fresh water and emptying grey waste.
Considering this is a family site there is no childs play area.
Fishing lakes need attention as they are just full of weeds.
Didn't use the WiFi as it wasn't free.

Me gustó Stayed here for 2 nights,very spacious pitches and well kept campsite.
Shower block cleaned regularly with nice hot showers..lovely peaceful site,will return.

Everything you need in a motor home and a good size pitch
Toilets clean

No me gustó Geese make a racket in the morning and evening but I don’t think they can do anything about them
The lakes could do with a lot of the weed removing then they could call them fishing lakes
