Me gustó: The owner is really lovely and polite the facilities are spot-on with a nice up-to-date shower and toilets yet 360 views which are absolutely beautiful of the peak District and you're in a short distance from some lovely walks and hikes

Me gustó: Arrived at the site and it was packed... No room for us to pitch up without encroaching on someone elses space we therefore turned round and drove off.

No me gustó: One of the two showers just ran cold water one morning. I don't know if it was me that couldn't work it, but the other shower worked perfectly.

Me gustó: As a wild camping site it's fantastic. Arrived and rang the number that's by the gate on the left as advised. Was told to just park and chill. They come round in the evening when they check the facilities to collect balance of payment (cash or card)
There's a cabin with 4 or 5 toilets, 2 basins and some lovely touches in providing hand wash and hand lotion. Smelt really clean and as it's a wild camping site it's fab to have facilities at all. There's a separate cabin with a shower and toilet. All facilities are mixed. The washing up area is uncovered in the field ,washing up liquid, clothes wash etc was available which again is a lovely consideration.
If you turn right out of the site there's a footpath to Deep Dale and a pub if you turn left to the end of the lane, cross the road, follow the track to the end then turn left. Staff in there are friendly. I travelled alone and am female. It was absolutely fine

No me gustó: Nothing. Bring decent trainers or boots as the lane is stoney

Me gustó: Peaceful, nice view, clean toilets and a hot shower. Absolute bargain for £12

No me gustó: Most of the field was on a slope but not too much of an issue

Me gustó: Everything was delightful, a lovely field with beautiful views, very quiet and relaxing. The facilities were very clean, the lady who owns the site was very helpful and friendly, we'll definitely be coming again. Little slice of heaven!
