Me gustó: Absolutely lovely place, owners very friendly and we loved the farm shop very much. Also nice places to go hiking around the campsite. Strongly suggest to visit it.

No me gustó: Toilette could be better and would be nice to have a proper washing up area.

Me gustó: Such a beautiful site. So much room and well spaced pitches. The views are wonderful and we spent so much time just sat admiring

No me gustó: . The only reason I knocked a star off is that the site isn’t particularly well monitored, no one checking the toilet roll or sawdust in the composting toilets (which I was very surprised by, a brilliant way a reduce waste).

The loos were serviced a few times over the weekend with new toilet roll and sawdust topped up. It was a very busy bank holiday weekend and sometimes I think people take the loo roll's back to their camp!! Thanks for the feedback, and we'll be sure to service them more regularly. Me gustó: The owners was lovely and very helpful pointing me in the right direction. The campsite it’s self was lovely also.

No me gustó: Some guys beside us had no lead on there dog and attacked my dog. Some other campers was playing the bongos late on (the same beat) for 30 mins I thought was gonna crack up 😩

We have a mobile phone number on the gate and sent in the confirmation email so that people can message us at any time to alert us to something like this, and then we can come and ask people to abide by the rules. Me gustó: The camp site is very idyllic and serene with spectacular views. The owners are really friendly and helpful and providing free fire bowls is a really nice extra. The amenities are basic as it says in the description but in perfect working condition and we wouldn't need more for a short trip. We also loved having the free range farm animals around. We went for dinner in the nearby Red Lion in Kniveton and really enjoyed it.

No me gustó: For a longer trip showers would be nice - but for a short trip we didn't miss anything :)

Me gustó: The quietness of the farm Bob the farmer couldn’t help us enough. Loved being able to watch the stars and planes without a care in the world next to roaring fire.

Me gustó: Beautiful views, lots of space, very relaxed, back to basics, fire pits provided, meat/eggs/wood available to buy

No me gustó: No showers - fine for us for a short trip but maybe not if you want to stay longer

Me gustó: The owners couldn’t do enough to find us a spot despite the poor weather making the majority of the site inaccessible via our campervan

No me gustó: Nothing lovely views, huge site, composting loos

Me gustó: The site is grate, no thrills camping! It felt really relaxing, pitches are well spaced and lots of very clean composting toilets.
