Liked: Clean and tidy site, clean but basic facilities, staff were informative, came around and updated us if the weather was going to take a turn for the worst
Disliked: Facilities desperately need updating and expanding as 1 toilet and 1 shower is not enough for the full camp site

Liked: It was quiet .the wardens were very friendly and informative.
Disliked: The facilities were poor only 2 female toilets and one shower .In urgent need of upgrading .Nowhere to dry hair only one sink and mirror.The refuse situation was appalling .Hadn't been emptied in the 3 days we were there and not in bins just rubbish piled up.Couldnt smell from where we were but close up was horrendous.A haven for rats.

Liked: Pitch was perfect, staff were friendly and helpful, weather was good.
Disliked: Toilets not up to date but clean, not worth the price . Hard to pitch up due to my jockey wheel sinking in the Hard core whilst using my motor mover, my fault for not having an inflatable tyre.
Overall a good stay for one night

Liked: The reception staff were really friendly and helpful helped us manoeuvre the caravan onto our pitch for the night. Lovely little site.
Disliked: Toilets while practical were a little outdated.
Facilities: Field, smelly toilets, electricity, construction site.

Disliked: First night, Friday morning. We were woken about 8am with the noise of loads of heavy machinery. It sounded like a London construction site. Angle grinders, cement mixers, heavy plant machinery moving stuff. Very noisy. Saturday morning a bit less.
Toilet block, pre war, needs replacing. Gents: 1 sink, 1 toilet, 1 shower, 1 urinal. Ladies (wife said) same but 2 cubicles instead of urinal. Taps were plunger button, when plunger is released, water stops, comedy outdated. Shower also had plunger operated. Hand dryer was powerful and modern and worked awesome , it was the highlight of the site. Out tent was so close to the toilets that we could hear when someone was washing their hands, sounded like a jet engine taking off. This enabled us to know when the toilets were free. The smell on Saturday morning from the toilets was so strong we could smell it from our tent, most unpleasant. Also Saturday morning, no toilet paper. The site looks like it’s under construction and catering for caravans mainly. You make your own fun (it’s camping, of course you do). The only kids play facility was a large outdoor chess set which needed a spring clean. There were also some benches to sit on outside the toilet block, why anyone would want to do this is beyond me.
No on site shop. Basically a field with electricity and an outdated toilet block. You make your own fun.
Mabe you should give camping a miss, our toilets are clean and work fine, most campsites have to use push taps as people keep leaving taps turned on causing flooding, as for loo paper running out, we do not get alerts when this happens most people just come and tell us. We will let the farmer know you did not appreciate his fertilizer spreading on the weekend you were here, unfortunately this us what the summer smells like in the countryside. The builders work was being carried out by northern water who are improving the water quality of the river Tyne and is beyond our control. I note you did not read our site description properly as we do not offer facilities for children, we expect you to entertain them yourself and their are many family activities in the area to keep them occupied.

Liked: Not a great deal!
Disliked: Lack of information on arrival, one shower for entire park (which we had to find ourselves), no facility for refuse (large pile of over-flowing bagged rubbish near reception building. Several dogs wandering free (no owners present).
Thank you for your comments, you were given a site information leaflet when you arrived, if you lost it you could have requested a replacement.

Thank you for you comments however our facilities are adequate for the size of the site, unfortunately our guest do create a large amount of refuse and we have collections weekly.
