Lovely site, very clean (but a little dated). Nice and quiet. Around a 10
Minute walk to a family friendly pub that does lovely food and has a nice garden area at the back. Park not far from the pub too. Plenty open space and friendly staff.
Also, the ground was perfect for tent pegs - soft enough not to need too much effort to peg down but firm enough to hold them in place once in

The site is in a very peaceful location. It is a 12min walk to the bus stop to either Newcastle or Hexam and a 20 min walk to a good pub.

There are only two toilets and one shower in the female facilities and one toilet and one shower in the male facilities, with no disabled access

We were greeted by Gordon, the warden, who personally escorted us to our pitch. He was really friendly and told us we needed to know about where to find the amenities.

It was a peaceful site with tired but clean facilities.

Beautiful site just outside Newcastle. Ideal.for visiting the area or like us for a one night stay on the way further north. Good size level hardstanding pitches for motorhomes. Shower block was old but spotlessly clean with really hot shower. The warden was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area

Liked everything this site had to offer. The warden was very nice and very helpful. The site was on a great bus route to Newcastle or Hexham, and there was a lovely pub called the White Swan only 1 km walk to in Ovingham

Quiet Area, extremely helpful warden (Gordon), he helped us out of a sticky situation with a flat battery, very pleasant guy.

Gordon was v friendly, good sized pitch

No toilet roll, whilst toilet and shower was clean, it really really needs some serious work. Waste area is down a set of stairs so a bit awkward with the wheels.
