Liked: Gordon the warden was very friendly and accommodating pitching us next to our friends who were on a grass pitch. He was very welcoming and helped with the local area. Campsite was quiet with plenty space well set up.
Disliked: Toilets and shower were a little out dated. Only having 1 shower, 1 sink and 2 toilets in quiet a big site was a bit of a draw back.

Nice hot water
Level pitchesDisliked: Shower (only one in ladies) and toilets very old fashioned. Went to a dribble when anyone else was using the water.
Dish washing area was under a roof that had been repaired with bin bags and it had been raining and I got very wet standing under it.
I think they are part way through doing the site up. Some of it looked in great shape, especially where the mobile homes were. The parts I have mentioned were very run down and in need of attention.

Liked: Lovely clean, quiet site. Very friendly and helpful and great location, just opposite river. Apparently toilet block are about to have a refurb but they were very clean. Great value for money.

Liked: Site is very well kept, sheltered washing up facilities with 2 charging stations. Clean and warm showers, beautiful area within 10mins walk to the pub and 15mins to train station. Super nice & friendly Gordon the Warden is doing fantastic job maintaining the site and making us feel very welcome and comfortable.
