What customers say
Lovely, quiet spot with big, neat pitches, fire pits & cool horse-box loos. Owners are super helpful! Great for chilling & nature. Some phone signal issues & traffic noise, but folks rave about it and want to come back.

We’ll be back soon!
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked A lovely quiet site with a beautiful meadow. I saw a green woodpecker in the evening which was great as they are rare and it shows good meadow management. I do love seeing wildlife on campsites, they can be havens if managed well. 👍👏 we will be back. Sarah was very helpful with her communication via email and the shower block is very cool!

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Great pitch sizes (non electric) fairly level ground and liked the idea of the placement of the water and washing up stations. Plenty of footpaths and a great pub 2 miles away (Bird in Hand) Non electric pitches are more exposed to the elements than the EHU pitches so worth considering if weather not great. Plus these are the furthest from the main road. No phone signal if needed
Disliked Toilet block not cleaned the whole weekend we were there and ran out of loo roll.

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Quiet, basic site with large, flat pitches. Lovely long unborn grass in the centre of the field attracts lots of butterflies, fire pits allowed, easy to find.
Disliked An unpleasant couple staying next to the facilities with a dog that barked aggressively every time someone walked nearby to use the showers. Not the camp sites fault. Large pitches so I moved to the other side of the camp site and walked the long way round to avoid passing their motorhome.

Electric grass tent or motorhome pitch (premium, private bathroom amenities)
Liked We had a fantastic stay at this campsite and would happily return. The enclosed pitch was perfect for our dogs, giving them plenty of safe space to roam and play off lead while we relaxed. Having a private kitchen, toilet, and shower on the pitch was a real luxury and made the whole experience so much more comfortable.
The site itself was lovely and peaceful, with a quiet atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. There were also plenty of amenities nearby, making it easy to pick up supplies or explore the local area.
The only downside was the lack of WiFi and very limited phone signal, which might be an issue if you need to stay connected.
Overall, a brilliant campsite with excellent facilities, especially for dog owners. Highly recommended.
