Liked The campsite isn’t too big but it’s for the better if you don’t like those giant campsites/holiday parks. There’s plenty of space for games, walks or just chilling. The lake is rather small but sufficient for swimming. The facilities are good, showers and toilets are cleaned regularly.

Disliked Only two minor things: - shower & toilet blocks, it’d be good to show from outside whether it’s occupied (I always had a small panic attack whether I locked the door whenever somebody was pulling the door handle from outside) - it’d be good if the playground had a few more facilities especially for younger children

Liked Large field with plenty of space and level pitches, peaceful area and beautiful clean river. The owner was very friendly, he would come over everyday to say hello and ask if everything is fine.

Disliked We were there for one weekend so we didn’t mind it, but the lack of showers for tent campers can be an issue for some.

Liked Spacious lodge, comfy beds and very nice hot tub. Quiet area, even with neighbours next door we couldn’t hear anything.

Disliked The description on pitchup is not accurate. Reach out to Sherwood hideaway directly to avoid any disappointments.
