Keswick, Cumbria, England
Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Small, pop up campsite that is very basic (as described) but had everything we needed to stay in our campervan. Location is fantastic and the views are amazing. Located well away from any roads, so all you hear is the sheep and fellow campers which is great. Great for 1 or 2 nights stay to explore the lakes. We will be back

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked The scenery is to die for, it is so peaceful and close to walking up Mam Tor
Disliked Only downside that I could find was that the pitches are a little hilly but it wasn't too bad once we leveled the van.

Liked Great location and friendly service. We liked the dog run free area, which was great for our dog to exercise in the morning before going out. I like the little hut that contains books, dvds etc for when the weather isn't so good. I liked the idea of choosing your own pitch and all pitches had electric, water, a drain and even TV ariels. Free WiFi too, excellent facilities, we will return.
