Freshwater, Isle Of Wight, England
Powered grass campsite
Liked Very friendly helpful wardens, peaceful site, plenty of space, spotless facilities, pleasant dog walking area, 10 min walk to lovely quiet beach, relatively flat, good sized pitches with views of the sea. Near to Freshwater village which has supermarkets and not far from Yarmouth with its ferry access and variety of restaurants. There is a bus stop outside if you don't have a car or want a car free day.
Disliked The wi-fi was a bit hit and miss, the site would benefit from additional water taps.

Nantwich, Cheshire, England
FHU gravel travel trailer campsite (premium)
Liked The setting is in lovely countryside alongside the canal with many walks locally and pretty villages and interesting towns nearby. The site is very neat and tidy and the pitches are all level, a good size and have water and electricity at them all.
Disliked The site is at a working marina with boat manufacturing and maintenance going on which does create some noise.
