Liked Beach
Disliked Broken and dirty toilets, showers with no locks or hooks on doors so your're clothes got wet through whilst you showered even in a bag, dirty washing area at times too. Seen staff standing vaping or smoking at the toilets having a chat instead of cleaning them popped in then back out, over priced beer. Our electric hook up pitch 9 was really uneven and flooded on the second night, so we had to fish our floating free standing awning out of the middle of the water. We did ask to be moved the afternoon before but they said we couldnt because their was no room and we would be fine as it wouldn't flood even tho we could clearly see it would due to the patches of wet on the grass from rain before we had arrived. There were hard standing pitches that were free even tho we were told they were all booked up and there were also other pitches free that didnt get a swimming pool as you walked out of your van free too. We then heard that the area we were staying in had been flooded before and everyone had to be moved and all the electrics went off by other customers a few months ago so we were clearly lied too about it not flooding. So we moved our selves to a none electric pitch and also went to john o grotes for a couple of days.which was very clean and everything worked. Would not stay at this park dean resort again. This review has been left as we would hate to see this happen to a anyone else especially a family in a tent so definitely avoid pitch 9. We love scotland and holiday here a lot all these issues could be solved with good drainage and staff who actually do the job they are paid to do.
