Liked Warm welcome plus well kept pitches. Water tap on pitch with drain. Great experience, warm atmosphere. Our dog and me loved the walk in the wood it was long enough as he is 13 years old. Lots to do and visit in the local area. Walk from camp to craft centre or walk to a couple of pubs/restaurants, so has lots to offer if you book and stay there. We used to live in the Poole area,for 20 years so there is A LOT of places to visit!!!!. A working farm plus camping site has the right balance and works well. Wi-Fi was 10 out of 10 .Good experience, easy to find, staff great and we will be coming again and again

Disliked No area to let dog off lead on site but as stated earlier we know the area, so we know where we can. The staff can also advise you on this subject.

Liked If you like low key,green based eco,nature, friendly comfortable,warm site away from it all, this is the site for you. Martin and friends are so welcoming. As an overnight it is well placed to pull in relax/chill and leave the next day refreshed, but if you want to really find the feel and look of this site ,stay longer. Frankly we stayed for 4 nights and soaked up the ambiance of this gem of a site. Chatting with Martin you get a feeling that this site is a living, growing idea that will always be evolving in his head and on the ground. He will share with you his vision and if have any ideas will consider them. He is very knowledgeable and is a people person as you will soon find out. We will be definitely returning again and again when we need to escape to woods,deer,woodpeckers and the rabbits hopping around the fields on a misty morning or maybe sitting around an open fire hearing the owls at night over a drink or 2. Well done guys .

From the manager: It was great to meet Sue and yourself and I'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay. As you say more work still going on at the campsite more Bird Boxes and toilets on there way. I don't expect i will be completely eco friendly, but hope to keep nature happy and enjoying the site, alongside visitors enjoying and relaxing whilst watching nature.
