Bangor-on-Dee, Wrexham, Wales
Primitive grass and earth campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Quiet campsite with a back to basics feel. The area is beautiful. Hanmer Mere is a short 15 minute walk away where you can enjoy wild swimming. Unfortunately, inflatables and paddleboards are not allowed on the water. Hosts were lovel.
Disliked There is a Peacock on the site that likes to scream through the night and into the morning!

Carrock Sunset camping pod (hot tub)
Liked David was very welcoming and showed us to our pod. The pod's are very cosy, clean and in a perfect location. Quiet, secluded and perfect for a couples getaway. Easy driving distance to lots of walks and attractions in the lake district. Definitely will be going back
