Liked Beautiful surroundings and lovely little kitchen, shower and toilet unit. Very peaceful and lots of lovely walks and cycle rides

Disliked There were just two of us there so showering was fine but if the pitches were full, just two showers and toilets would not be enough

From the manager: You obviously did not see the portable shower and WC facilities and the portable toilets on site. These were not open as the site was not busy. I again must remind everybody this is a CL and as such has limited facilities all be it the facilities we have put in are superb, with showers, toilets and a kitchen with washing machine and fridge freezer. Dont think your comments in the dislike were fair or for that matter reasonable. Most touring caravans and motor homes have on board facilities, the problem is people don't like using them. It would have been better not to have made any comment. I better say no more! Norman

Liked Very spacious and quiet pitch. Lovely walks by canal and good pub. Good clean showers with lots of hot water

Liked Stunning area, very peaceful, clean showers and electric and water worked well

Disliked The owners/operators were pleasant enough but gave us no info or showed us our pitch. Just said park wherever you like. Restaurant shut. One disabled show and one ordinary. Had to use the disabled as the water in the other one was cold. Did not know where bins or waste water/loo disposal was

Liked Host was very friendly. Electric worked well and showers and toilets nice and clean. Site was surrounded by canals and water in nice countryside.

Disliked Site was quite messy but this did not effect us.

Liked The host could not have been more helpful and charming. Even set up a TV for us so we could watch the Rugby!!! Very peaceful and clean. Good electric hook up and showers were ok but they are due to be renovated. Lovely area.

Liked The hosts, the peaceful campsite,and the surrounding area. The showers were the best I have ever seen in a campsite and the food - top class!!!
