From the manager: I am sorry as regards to your stay at Esholt Caravan and Camping Site. I would like to give you a few details regarding the club which is a non-profit making organisation where everyone gives their time on a voluntary basis. The work is broken down into various areas. A few examples are: Managing the bar, Groundsman duties, Cleaning duties, Accountant’s department, Maintenance department, Fundraising and Caravan and camping of which I am in charge as well as doing other duties. For £12 per night for 2 people, we cannot afford to pay staff i.e. receptionist or a person available 24/7 waiting for caravans to arrive. Regarding complaints about amenities, they are listed in the brochure which is given to you on arrival. There are 7 toilets, 10 showers, 2 water points, 1 Elson point and 1 skip. We apologise for the telephone and wifi reception but these are problems that affect the whole area. This year we have had 410 bookings from which we received 9 complaints. 9 complaints is still far too many. We take your feedback very seriously and try to find solutions to every comment.
