Liked Very quiet and peaceful. There was some road noise but not till commute time Monday morning and even then only the occasional traffic. Site clean and all amenities good. We, and another visitor, were not booked in but a call to Helen quickly resolved this. Lovely field for exercising dogs which was a definite plus

Disliked Bin was overflowing when we arrived, but guess bin men were due ...

Liked Campsite was very quiet, small and relaxing. Showers were lovely and hot and very clean, (50p for 7 minutes was definitely enough time for a decent shower). Staff were friendly, very helpful, and informative about the local area (we couldn't get into local pub for a meal but they helped us find a fish and chip shop nearby instead)

Liked The site was quiet, peaceful, and restful. Staff were friendly and helpful. Toilets were immaculate and cleaned regularly. Lovely walk around the site for dogs, though slightly overgrown after all the rain, and lots of deer to be seen as you walked

Liked Warm welcome when we entered the campsite, we were told where everything was and also walks were pointed out for our dog Although campsite was big it was quiet and peaceful and friendly The shower facilities were clean and there was even emergency shower gels, shampoo and toothbrushes etc to use if you had forgotten anything Would definitely stay there again

Liked Very friendly welcome on arrival Locked gates made u feel secure Pitch roomy but electric was plugged in down quite a drop Quiet night apart from yappy dog, but not an issue with campsite tbf Otherwise good night

Disliked Buzzing from overhead cables could be annoying for some users but pitch was fine for an overnight stay. Do not be put off by drive up where there is construction work as site is unaffected

Liked Very quiet, remote, peaceful place to stay. Couple of walks on the site for the dog which was brilliant. Friendly host who offered home reared meats and eggs if we wanted any; we did have the eggs which were gorgeous, large and fresh. Two toilets and 1 shower which was adequate for the amount of people on the site and a large washing up area, with a small book library.
