Liked Well kept and clean facilities. Great location for visiting York. Friendly community feel. Decently priced. Would reccommend.

Disliked Sign posts on site were not particularly clear (e.g. the non-electric tent sign before the mound). We and others accidentally drove towards the back-packers only area as it seemed to suggest that this was the area for non-electric tents. Could do with a sign saying no cars on mound to avoid this happening in future. Very minor issue though, did not affect our stay.

Liked Great location for visiting Edinburgh and for walks along the coast. Facilities were clean and well kept. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Disliked There was constant mowing/strimming both days I was there so it was not particularly peaceful.

Liked Site was in a beautiful location overlooking hills and farmland. Facilities were minimal but in a decent condition. Only stayed for one night so lack of facilities was not an issue.

Disliked Was a little expensive considering the lack of facilities. I stayed at 5 different sites within a week around Yorkshire and Northumberland and this was the most expensive, despite the other sites all having clean showers, washing up areas, hot water and toilet blocks.

Liked Lovely small site in a beautiful location. Good facilities, clean and well kept. There was only one other tent when we stayed so it was very peaceful. The Pizza on-site was great too!

Liked Staff were very friendly and welcoming upon arrival. Facilities were clean and the site was well kept. Lots of space.

Disliked Showers were not particularly warm or powerful but obviously this is to be expected when camping so wasn't a big issue. Site is situated next to a main road and a railway so it was not the most peaceful, but nothing that a pair of earplugs doesn't solve.
